There are a lot of tricks played by these people to cheat innocent people, to get their money or valuables.
They also use various excuses to start with, like they lost their purse, and want money to go home. Have their kid at home, but not able to pay them fees.
While in bus or train, you could see people giving you impression they are good and after they get down you will realize they have taken your purse while talking.
Have you ever been in such a situation? What could be done to avoid that?

According to me, try helping people whom you know, that is the besting thing to do, rather than helping somebody you never know.
If you think the way of helping tendency is going to be extinct, try joining a social welfare organisation, join with people there and try to help people there.

Yes, I was. Once, and only once, because I figure if I get fooled again it'll be my fault and not theirs. This person claimed to be a friend of mine who runs a non-profit organization for people with disabilities. He said he agreed to lend me money to go to a program that I wanted to go to. Later, I found out that this person wasn't actually my friend in reality but only impersonating him instead. Poor William, my friend, lost a lot of credibility because people were calling him and asking him where the money was. He responded, "What money?" Apparently, someone had somehow hacked into his system and stolen a bunch of applicants names and emailed us. Because William doesn't come out of his house a lot due to his disability, we could not confirm in person with him what was going on. These people charged me $350.00. When I found out, I called the police. Last I heard, it was still under investigation but I have no hope of ever seeing that money again. At least, I don't think I do.

In my case I was cheated by my employer. I use to work in a teaching institute known as Lingua Language Institute before it is change to Smart Class. At the beginning, my employer pay my salary then he started to pay me inconsistently before he started to give various excuses and avoid to see me. He told me a lot of crap and he is still doing the same thing. He relocates his 'learning institute' from one district to another and sell the same crap such as his institute has been given the right to conduct classes to prepare for Cambridge examination, he even paste example of certificates that students will get after passing the exam.
He is a number one conman, he works with his mistress and claim that she is his wife. He is actually a married man with two children. He uses different names and signature to avoid being trace. Up to now he has not pay my salaries of 6 months...I have file a case on him. Anyone please beware of this conman and Smart Class.
