Does religion hold the truth? Or the people enforcing it?

Some of you may be aware from my past posts,
that I'm questioning a lot of things about God and religion.
It is my belief most priests, ministrels, cardinals, bishops
and whatever else they call themselves are greedy people
that only care about profits and very little about the truth,
or about God's laws wich they enforce upon us.
They ask us to be kind and meak, especially kind in our offerings,
while they are cloacked with wealth and sometimes evilness,
as if they are not worshipping the same God,
and as if the same rules we learn to fear,
will never apply to them.
Surely everyone has seen how these days
they only ask for donations to build yet another huge church,
but they can't and won't spare at least some bread or some dirty blankets
when disasters strike their believers and followers.
History also proves they have done a lot of shady and bloody deeds,
all in the name of God, including Holy Wars and sacrifices.
They crucified people before Jesus came, they continued to do so afterwards.
Not to mention they burned people alive as witches later on,
for claiming the earth was round or that is moving around the sun,
because no such "truth" was said in their old dusty books.
They have done most things for huge profits,
and they got rid by any means of those who questioned their rightfulness,
usually by killing them one way or another,
and speaking of killing in the past they killed some rich folks
just to take over their wealth.
For years if not centuries was rumoured,
that the Pope, as well as other religious leaders of different beliefs
influenced many politics of many countries,
and are actually still doing it.
And hence I named the Pope here,
I'd like to add some more wich I find weired.
Christianity is the biggest religion all over the world,
but has many trends and The Pope is chosen as head over 2 big trends,
The Roman Catholic and The Ortodox,
wich can't possibly both hold the truth.
Not to mention there are countless smaller Christian trends,
such as Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians,
Pentecostals and so on, and of course not all are recognized by Pope.
But they all have one thing in common,
each claims to hold the truth and rightfulness,
and they are so different in their worships/service
that you could easily think are different religions.
Not to mention there are those,
who'll say "God help" before going to steal stuff or do other wrongs,
or even worse "God forgive me" before and after doing harm to others,
and any other shady deeds...

I think the truth alone is Gods words and commandment, how we fairly deal with our fellow men and how we live properly under our faith.Religion is not our way of salvation but rather our relationship with him. When we speak of different doctrines and principles about a religion, it will just create a conflicting views gearing towards a war and disunity. So better know what you want, whom to believe and how to deal on it in a right manner.

Think of all bad things in the world as much as you can, before doing them sometimes our conscience refused and our mind protest right? That is the concrete example of Gods commandment inculcated in us naturally. People are given two choices to follow or not,But still God is the one enforcing it.

Yes, we were given free will. Most religions admit it.
The power to think and to seek answers. And to choose our way.
But most followers/believers don't use it. Or are afraid to.
Religion was proven wrong by science on many counts,
and had to adjust their "ultimate truth".
Sometimes this happened after a very long while,
and after a lot of bloodshed.
So was the Allknowing God wrong,
when has given them the Truth?
And they can simply adjust it,
without fear of His anger?

Yes, there are a million lessons to be learned around religion. None of them about God.God isn't really like the stories people have told about Him. Everyone will tell you what God wants, thinks, or does, but how many have searched and gotten the real answers from Him????Few want to go that way for they have all been taught to fear God from childhood. I have no fear of God. If you really knew God, you wouldn't either. Don't listen to all the scary stories. Discover God yourself.Do you really need someone else to help you do this??? If religion can not find something wrong with you then you don't need them. We are meant to THINK!

Yes, there is a lot of wisdom to be found in religions,
and there is a lot to be learned from them.
But isn't the same thing true with fairytales?
And shouldn't people preaching it lead the way,
not just by empty words, wich are either said or sung at service,
but with their own deeds of kindness? At least in times of need,
if not in times of joy as well? They keep saying sharing is the way,
but they are only receiving without sharing anything.
They keep selling you, their so called "holy" items.
Not to mention they usually keep fortunes in pocket,
whenever they ask for help to build a new place to pray.
And then there is the mercy and donations
wich come their way anyway.
Religion is a great biz.
