I am an avid reader and have lately been running out of ideas of books to read. I tend to go through a phase (which can last a few months at a time) where I keep thinking of great things I want to read or coming across reviews that make me want to read new things. I also go through phases where I can come up with no new ideas and cannot come up with interesting new things to read. Unfortunately, I'm in one of those phases now! I'm particularly in the mood for a good book series, preferably fiction, although I read a wide variety of things. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!!!

I could recommend a lot of fantasy book series, but of course you may not enjoy them unless you like fantasy. So it depends on what kind of fiction you like to read, but some great book series that I've read recently would be Cinda Williams Chima's Heir Trilogy, Ted Dekker's Circle Trilogy, and Susan Collion's Hunger Games Trilogy (This last one is actually science fiction, but it's really good!).

I never used to like fantasy, but lately I've been getting more into that type of book. I also read the Hunger Games books and I loved them! Thanks for the other suggestions - I just checked them out online and I think I might read the Circle Trilogy books next. I'll add the Chima's Heir Trilogy to my list for later. Thanks for the great ideas!

Author Lillian Jackson Braun has a series of mystery novels you might enjoy they are called "The Cat Who...." The first in the series is "The Cat Who Could Read Backwards." The series is about a newspaper journalist who ends up inheriting two cats nameed Ko-ko and Yum Yum. The cats help the man solve mysteries around this town that he lives in.
If you like cats and enjoy a mystery that is filled with a lot of gore, her books will do the trick.
Oh and you can find these in your local library.
Enjoy the read!
