Doing good things is not enough. You have to believe in the Christ Jesus first then do good things will matter the most. No matter how much good things you do but you don't believe in Jesus Christ, then you're life is worth nothing!

Hi etongong,
I agree with you. I also want to add that when we do good things we should do it unto the Lord.

for me its not as much about the fear of God for doing bad things, but instead its the fact that I or someone else may do bad things to begin with. to get to the main point i'm trying to make, do you really want to leave the world worse off when your gone? doing that in it self makes me feel bad but not the fear of God.

Hi raj, I believe that we should always try to do the best that we can, especially in the way we treat others. We will all slip up of course but that will happen anyway and there is no need to worry. Remember we are all one and God is within each and everyone of us. Fear is our greatest enemy, relax, we are all loved. Blessings.

hi,
I understand what you want to tell and i believe you are not the type of person who fear of god and do good things. And as said by you he is in us, but i sometimes think if he is in us why do some people do worst deeds which are not to be done. Thanks for sharing views. Happy mylotting

I believe that, but sometimes god give good guy a bad things to test him/her. so don't give up when something bad happen to you. It is not because you are bad, but that is life.
