i do not have a bestfriend

Hi! I never had a best friend too until I met my husband :) I must say that before him, a lot of friends have come and gone my way. I even considered several of them as my bestfriend in one point of time or another. However, they always end up being cold after many years of friendship or I'd just find out that they were not being honest with me or worse, betrayed me. I kinda lost faith in the whole best friend idea because of that, especially when two of my so-called best friends before betrayed me and humiliated me in front of soooo many people. But when I met my husband, he changed everything and brought back the faith that I had lost in friendship. He is such a good person and such a good friend that I feel myself so lucky to have him as a husband. And I'm not only saying these things because he's my husband but a lot of people can also attest to his good personality. He understands me and loves me unconditionally. And the good thing about it is that he also considers me as his best friend. We do have a lot of things in common especially in our principles and views about life. Perhaps that's the reason why we consider ourselves as best friends. We feel confident about each other and know that no matter what, even when the whole world would turned their backs against us, we are assured that there's one person who would keep their promise of love and friendship :D

I have .But now changed less. Maybe ```friends themselves change with time.

I haven't ranked any of my friends. i am sure that a hand full of them think they are my best friends, but I haven't thought about it to tell you the truth.

I myself have had the honor to have 2 very good friends I can call my best friends. I've known them for a very long time and have had both good and bad times. One of the best things about having a good long time friend is that they know you fairly well and can offer good advise from time to time.

Hi ellovire. There is no best friendship that can last forever,neither the enemy. So just enjoy the friendship with your fiends. A friend in need is a friend indeed. When you are in difficulty,some of your friends will give their hands. If they don't show up,maybe just because they are busy. Have a nice one!

It can be a pain having a so-called "best friend" as they always let you down in the end. My best female friend is my Mum and my best male friend is my husband, John. That's all I need and I am old enough now not to worry about these things as it can cut you up inside if you let it.

Well above many of us has described about friends and their essence in our lives...truely best friend is the one with whom you connect easily and aptly...this si the person whom you look for during your ups and downs...you love to have them around....I do have a best friend whose so caring and supportive....even if i get a slightest hurt she's there up front asking me for my well being....its just a blesing to have some one so dear so close to you...whom you always look upon when you need without any hesitation....share some beautiful moments....just getting nostalgic....people are lucky truely lucky to be blessed with best friends.... A best friend is one with whom you are close, whom you can trust with everything, who stays with you in both happy and sad moments, who gives you inspiration, courage, strength and encouragement, who tells you if you are wrong so that you can change for the better. A best friend is one who you feel comfortable with everytime you are together, with whom you can share secrets that not even your own family knows of. Best friends are not perfect persons. Being man, they can commit errors. Some 'best friends' may even turn their backs on you and that hurts a lot because of the closeness you have already developed. I had a best friend but she has passed away. I then realized that being best friends in this world may last only for sometime. I have learned to entrust everything to only one best friend who never failed me. That is JESUS alone who even gave His own life for my salvation. He is the only best friend I can have for life.
