Ok, first of all I am sorry that I have not had time to write this week. I enjoyed the show very much but with me loosing my job and then coming down with the flu I have not really had the energy to do so.
With all that in mind I plan on making this a rather short summary and allow you, if you wish, to make comments worthy of these threads.
BANG!!! BANG!!!
No better words can I think of that would express what Russell did in the last show than to shoot down Galu for good. Loading both barrels he aimed and fired while at the same time solidifying his Foa Foa tribe and the alliance of Shambo. To watch both Dave and Monica go down in such a blaze of glory was awesome. Dave was a no brainer. He did not know how to play the game and proved that point over and over again.
Too Little Too Late
Monica however started her game WAY too late. She should have been playing like that from the beginning. At least then people would have respected her. What this looked like to everyone was a last ditch effort to stay in the game. And it failed.
Who is in the line of fire now?
As you see on my week 12 synopsis I said Bret would win immunity and Monica would be voted off. I was partially right. Now how long can Bret hold immunity? Not sure. That could mess things up big time. I Bret wins again that means one of the Foa Foa will go home. (I know you are saying that Shambo is on the old Galu. But was she ever really on that tribe? I don’t think so. Some are chosen Foa Foa and some are Foa Foa naturally. ) If Bret does not win immunity I see him going. At the same time I see a play for the final 3 starting this week. Whoever comes out on top will be in the final 3. I see Russell Shambo and possibly Jaison going against Bret Mick and Natalie. The advantage is the fact that Russell has the hidden immunity idol which would mean that they would not go for Russell. However, if Russ Jaison or Shambo wins immunity that increases the advantage.
What about the hidden immunity idol?
Now that it is out in the open what does Russell do with it next. It was a very smart move to bring that out. A play stating “I will play this tonight.” That bluff only works once. So now what do you do with it? You give it to someone? Or do you play it no matter what?
Final 4
I will keep the final 4 where it is. I believe that it will come down to
Russell
Shambo
Mick
Natalie
I think Jaison will be the next target if Bret and he or Bret will bite the bullet.
Can’t wait until Thursday!
Ok so this was a long one. I guess I did have it in me. Now I need to go lay down and rest. Whew!

Gosh I'm sorry to hear about your job. Stupid, crappy economy. And the flu was just adding insult to injury. Feel better soon!
I'm thinking that Russell has his mind in overdrive trying to figure out who to take with him so that he can be guaranteed to win. But honestly, if he makes it to the final, there is absolutely nobody who could possibly beat him imho.
The thing is, is anybody going to be stupid enough to take him with them if they win the final immunity challenge? I wouldn't. Still, Russell needs to try and take people with him that he believes will take him with them. And he also needs to do his darndest to win the last couple of challenges.
It will be interesting...

Hi - long time no see.
I would think people would recognize how well he's played and vote for him, but you just never know with people.
As for him not needing the money, the only reason I would ever let that even sway my vote would be if I absolutely could not decide between two people. In that unlikely circumstance, I'd probably give it to the person who needed it more.

Hi Pastor,
I hope you are feeling better from your flu. That will take you down. It's funny but my husband used to watch survivor with me but quit a couple of years ago. He thought they were rigging it too much. Now he can't help himself.
I think part of the reason Russell has made it so far, is that he laid off some of his nastiness. He's using his head to strategize instead of irritationg people by pouring out water etc.
I guess that is why he is a millionaire. He knows how to read people and use his brain not his emotions. I do think he will keep Shambo and Natalie by his side because he can trust them. After he gets rid of Brett, then he'll have to decide who is more trust worthy, Jaison or Mick. I think Jaison will be the one to go first. His fear of being voted off show too much. So I'm going with Russell, Natalie, Mick and Shambo. Take care of yourself and hope a job comes to you soon.

Pastor G,
I hope that you will get well soon but what happened to you at work? Sorry to know of your predicament especially the latter at such a challenging time like this.
You know what it is like when you do not learn, adapt and improvise in survival - you will just perish.
I am just surprised that Dave did not learn over and over, so it is over for him at the end of the day. However, right from the start since he fell off Shambo's good books and as Shambo said: "If Dave's not gone, tonight. Then, Russell and I are gonna have a talk..."
As for Monica, you are right about her playing the game late. However, I felt that she could have had a chance to stay and that Shambo might have been out, if she had played it another way. Talking about wrong decisions and move.
But one thing Monica for sure - she left with a big bang. I am sure everyone is now riled and ruffled. I feel a lot of them will be going back on their strategy board tonight.
I do not know about Brett being voted out because I felt that he had been lying low all these while. I am predicting Mick or Shambo here.
Let's wait and see...I just can't wait too. In the meantime, I hope that you will be feeling better with time. So, get well soon.
All the best and take care.
