Cruelty beyond measure

Two local fifteen year old girls were killed on Saturday night in a one car accident. Six kids under 17 were in the Dodge Durango when they lost control, flipped over onto the roof and slid about 7 yards upside down, on the guard rail. The two girls were in the back seat, one was ejected on impact, the other partially ejected. The twelve year old also sitting in the back is presently in a medically induced coma at an area trauma center.
These families know the most unbearable pain, the loss of not one, but TWO children.
THE EVIL
A man known as Michael Crook has decided he will be the judge and jury of this incident and of the families of all the kids in the car that night on his blog. He has stolen the one girls pictures from her myspace site, cast her as some drugged out freak from the ghetto. Nothing could be further from the truth. One of the girls who was killed was African American, Crook disparages her and her family in the most horrific & racist ways imaginable. Mr Crook has stated that he intends to SHOW UP AT THE VIGIL being held tonight. I have notified the police. This man sent e-mails to the families of these kids stating they "deserved to die, they would have been knocked up teen mothers living on welfare anyway"
This man is evil incarnate, but it doesn't stop there.
Mr Crook has also sent e-mails and posted inhumane posts about our (USA) service men and women. He called wounded soldiers "leaches", says they are over paid. You can see his interview on Hannity & Colmes web site or youtube.
Mr Crook feels that women who are raped DESERVED it.
How can a person be so unbelievably cruel to those who have alreadyhad their lives ripped apart?

Oh my god, oh my god is just the first thing that comes to my mind. I am just so sickened that someone can be such a piece of low life, I did actually find his website just because I wanted to see what the heck could spark this kind of such cruelty, the poor, and so saddening story of the poor girls, and I read what this piece of racist, sack of sh!t, every bad name you could come up with said.....but there is another newer story, that he says that a girl who is saying she was gang raped, actually wanted it. I so hope I meet this man, so I can stomp him in the balls because his writing are some of the most disgusting things I have ever read, literally I feel alittle ill right now and like I could cry because I just am so upset that someone could be so hurtful and thoughtless, and cruel, as to write, or even think those things.

yes, he can make you ill with his posts...
my daughter showed me what he had posted and I became so enraged, but she got sick, for real. These were two girls SHE KNEW. How do I explain why some one would say and post such horrifying things without ever having met them or their families?

I do not even know what to say about this. Those families have definitely been through enough, and he should not be adding to their pain. If I was a family member of one of the poor girls and he showed up at the vigil, I do not know what I would do but a few violent thoughts enter my mind. Unfortunately, if they do go after him and lay even one finger on him, then they can be arrested for assault, even though it would be deserved in my opinion. He can think whatever he wants, and he doesn't have to be right or have proof to back up what he is thinking. When he says those things out loud or in writing, though, especially on a public forum that the families can read or directly contacts the families and tells them his opinions, he is crossing the line. I think that they could probably sue him for slander or have him arrested for harassment, but that might just be wasting their time and energy on someone that does not even deserve one second of their time let alone their thoughts. If he continues, however, then I definitely think legal measures should be taken against him.

I held a child high up in my arms at the vigil tonight, she was maybe 4 or 5 years old, her name was Lindsey...When I set her back down, after the prayer & speakers were over, I gave her a big hug and a kiss, and her Mom & Aunty too. I had never met or spoken to any of them before tonight, and I may never again. But tonight, the power was overwhelming, the power of love conquering all, grief being shared is a love that knows no boundaries. When strangers reach out to hold one another in our anguish, it gives humanity a new hope...well, it did to me...

Yes, you are right about the "grief being shared is a love that knows no boundaries". I have felt it, and it is an indescribable feeling of love that can even overcome the deepest grief, if only for a brief instant. That in itself brings great hope from a sad situation.
I am glad that the creep did not show up and ruin the evening. I think that the creep did enough damage already, and its presence at the vigil would have only been adding insult to injury, which nobody there needed or wanted. I can only hope that some day it is repaid for its evilness, though.

If he does show up, I hope he's arrested. The family of those girls should not have to put up with any of this crap.

There are a lot of awful people in the world. They are fortunate it is not my decision as to who gets to remain on the planet. They would be wonderful candidates for space exploration--one-way.
