Hi, kitaboo Welcome to Mylot.
The only time when my family was together in some sort of a vacation was when my older brother got married. He was based in another city and got married there. A year or two after that, my very first nephew was baptized and we again had our family vacation. It has always been my mother's dream to have a family vacation. I hope we will have one soon.
Take care!

It was very long time ago that my family took a vacation in coastal cities, Dalian and Jinzhou in China. we stayed at a coastal resort. It was an amazing experience. We went to the sea shore to collect some sea food, mainly shells and took them back and boiled and ate. No need to put in salt. Very fresh and delicious. It was totally free.
but now things have changed dramatically. Visitors can hardly find such places where you can catch seafood for free. Everything is charged high.
It's been many years that my family haven't spent a vacation because I am always busying working. No vacation at all. If I want a long rest, that probably means that I need to leave the company.
Next year, we are planning to stay in my new house for a while, also in the city. I bought this house for short stay, like a vacation. It is located in the military guarded region, so safety can be ensured and the environment is terrific. It's very tough to find such a peaceful and spacious place in a big city now.

I normally take my family on vacation once a year. This time we went to a seabeach called Puri in Orissa in India. It is a wonderful seaside resort and a holy place for Hindus as it is also the abode of Lord Jagannath an avatar of Vishnu, a major Hindu god.

Me and my family have never really taken a "real" bona fide vacation before. Our "vacations" were basically visiting the surrounding states to my own - so, like, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Illinois, and so on. We never ventured out of the country, or further than about 400 miles. One year, long ago (I think I was 11..SO ALMOST 10 years ago!) we went to Mount Rushmore in SoutH Dakota, which was actually way cooler than it sounds. I was psyched! I always hear about my friends and distant family members going to places like Hawaii and Italy and France with their families...Which is something that we never got to do. I think it was mainly a money issue. Hopefully with my family (assuming I ever have one, that is!), that'll be different.

My family has not take a real vacation in a very long time....the most we get to that we consider a vacation is we like to go out to the woods and go camping for the weekend. It is nice to just get away from "real" life even if it isn't that far away or for that long..just spending time together with no interruptiosn is really nice and vacations enough for us...

Hi! Only me, because my parents don't have any time to go to and I think they also don't want to. I usually go to lovely places here in my country, Bulgaria, and I do it during the weekends when the weather is good!
