Do you ever wish you could just push pause

and stop time for a little while? There just seems to be more to do than there is time to do it. I know some of it is the holiday festivities - shopping, baking, etc. - and it is positive. But even positive events can be stressful.
I would just like to stop everything for a day or two to get caught up!
Are you feeling stressed by too much to do?

yes, i feel the same way too. i wish i can also press rewind! and go back!
but still, we are grateful that we are able to do the things some people can't do.

I'm not so sure about rewind, unless it included the possibility of doing things differently. There are lots of things I wouldn't want to do again!

ow.. sorry for that response. i mean when we can press rewind, you can change and do differently. and if you still don't like the result, press stop and rewind again....hahahha...

Yeah, I totally agree with you!! Especially on exam weeks, I wish there was a forward button in life to skip off the most delicate moments in life!! :)

Well, when you get to my age you no longer want to forward any faster than you have to, even the difficult times can turn out to your advantage.
I tolerated exam weeks pretty well, actually, considering that I did it with two parttime jobs and two kids with no husband. I look back and wonder how I did it!
Hope you get all A's!

Oh yes all the time..and just wander away for a bit and collect my thoughts..And sometimes my sanity in those reeeeaaall stressfully funky days..
But I think I'd like two buttons..Delete could be quite useful too..
Enjoy!

I'd love the delete button for all the times I wish I hadn't said or done something. Let's all vote for delete!

Positive is good. Activities that are positive can get to you though. Sometimes you need to take a break into negativity and rest.

hey.. i know what you mean.. sometimes it could just be easy if we can just hit pause rewind or fast forward whenever we want to right? but then it wouldn't be life anymore.. life is just like a road.. sometimes its smooth sometimes its rough.. but no matter what we do we still keep on driving forward.. no matter what the obstacle there is on the highway we tend to get passed it.. so just cheer up.. do your best and i think you will be blessed as well together with your hardwork.. have a nice day..

Sometimes I want to push PAUSE and stop those perfect moments in life, those moments that I wish would never stop and forever captured in that single moment. Sometimes I also want to push EJECT and literally eject other people in my life. LOL Seriously, am also feeling stressed out with the holidays, since so many changes happened in my life during these months. It's my first job, first time to earn, meeting new people, learning to socialize with your office mates... all of these changes are good, but they're kinda stressing me out. Everything's happening so fast that I want to stop and pause for a while, reflect about the changes in my life.

YES. And sometimes I want a mute button. Sometimes I just want a little quiet. Life can be very noisy living in the city.
Sounds like you've had to do a lot of adjusting lately and that IS stressful, even when it is positive. But you are still young and will just bounce right up to where you want to be.
Happy Holidays.

Ha! Sometimes I feel this way, too. Like I need some time to just BREATHE, because life: work, school, friends, bills..Just come up way too much and way too fast. Everything happens to quickly! It's hard to stay on top of everything, that's for sure. Sometimes I also wish I could press "pause" to think of things before I respond to people. For example, an ex-good-friend-of-mine called me up after a year of cold-shouldering me and I just had no idea what to say. In retrospect, though, I thought of all of these great, witty comebacks to say to him! But of course on the spot, that didn't happen. I wish I could pause life for a lot of reasons. LOL.

Oh, yeah. I can always come up with great responses long after the event.
