facebook became boring...

When I first started using facebook, I really felt very enjoyed. I thought that was the answer to my boredom already but it was only temporary. I don't know why I now feel that little by little, it's becoming dull and boring. The games I used to play in facebook no longer interests me. Maybe because I am more enjoyed with mylotting so I tend to forget about the enjoyment I found in facebook. How about you guys?

Hi pentagan12! I felt that too. Though I still open my account to play farmville once in a while, I do find the routine sometimes boring. Well, it's a still good way to connect with old friends. I really enjoy reading and posting comments here in mylot, this is a much better way to fight boredom. Happy mylotting!

Hello sachii315. I would really agree to everything you have said. Mylotting is better than doing something on facebook because we can really find pleasure in reading other members' comments. Happy mylotting too. ;-)

Oh I guess we are indeed humans after all, I am thinking that there is really no permanent happiness you can find here on earth. We can find at times, something to distract us but eventually we will lose interest in it afterwards. I think what you are feeling is just normal after all. We just have to look for another distraction in our online life and soon I expect that you would find something that would interest you.

I understand. Of course, we have different likes and dislikes. If you do enjoy it, then continue doing it. ;-)

Well yes it becomes boring that others didn't go online or didn't post any scary videos today or comment about my post and about the game yes, I am becoming great in mafia wars, I got lots of money there but I cannot buy a special weapons using it. But you need a gold from the Godfather.

I also find Facebook boring and complete waste of time. Imagine spending your time online without getting something in return? All cash-out? What I like with MyLot over Facebook is you are doing something worth your while. You are compensated for your efforts, and in fairness, MyLot is really enjoyable.

Thanks for reminding us that social networking sites are not for money. But every onliners incur cost in their online activities. I mean the Internet connection connection cost. Some don't have their own computers they are just renting in Internet cafe as you can see here in the Philippines. Using a social networking sites like MyLot gives us extra peace of mind that our expenses online are being covered by the compensation we receive. And this makes the process more enjoyable.

The point of social websites like facebook and myspace have nothing to do for money. Most people use them to keep in touch with their real life friends and family. I'm sure most people don't have all of their family using this site.

you get bored on things when you found a new one that interests you. maybe you get bored with facebook coz they offer nothing new while you enjoy reading posts and responses on mylot. but for sure you'll stay quite long here coz there are really interesting discussions everyday. especially when there are a lot of mylotters who are responding to your started topics. enjoy yourself here and happy mylotting pentagan12!

I don't like having my entire life on the internet for everyone in the world to see. I know you can prevent people from looking at your page but I never could get into it. I seen too many lives get ruined just because they had a Facebook account. I also don't find it all that interesting. Why not use instant messenger or chat? I think that's a lot better.

I have both a Facebook account pretty much because most of my friends are on there. There's a "Harry Potter" application that I'm totally addicted to (it might as well be one gigantic HP RPG as far as I'm concerned. lol), and that takes up a lot of my time on FB. Some of the applications I try, but get bored with after a short time, but it's no big deal for me.

So do I. I just can't keep my interest on it for long. Not any other friend-making sites either. I am not a fan for making friends online.

I dont have a facebook so i cant answer really on this one. But most of my friends have and they are like crazy about it. They are doing the "farm" thing and that most of them spends so much time on facebook...so i guess its not boring :) I choose not to have bcoz i dont want to be hook up on it. I hardly have time for myself now because i have a 14months old son... but crazy as it is... i am hook on this myLot bcoz the discussions are super interested. i love it!

I never really turned to Facebook to help my boredom. I was looking for a place where I can keep in touch with others easily, and it seems much better than Myspace or twitter. I guess for you though It's kind of like that whole phase with Myspace, teens were like "Heck yeah! This is awesome!" Then it started to get boring and they went and tried to find something to satisfy their hunger for fun. If you're looking for something that helps with boredom, why not try a hobby?

Well, I am on it everyday... and all night.. but am not necessarily doing something the whole time.. I just keep checking it.. It can sometimes interest me. Bot I do lots of things on a few other sites all at the same time so I am not bored.. and this is one of them. If it gets boring at facebook _ I do this, or zazzle.. I rarely go on Myspace anymore at all. So I guess facebook has beat our myspace.. I can always find something to do somewhere. :-)

I joined facebook about a year ago and I really can't stand it. I only go on when someone I know is asking me to add them. Otherwise I stay away from it. I find it confusing, boring and just not my cup of tea at all. Mylot is so much more fun to me and not boring at all.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have never liked facebook. I used to have an account and never used it...so I finally just deleted it. I guess I just never got the point of it lol...I still use myspace but only because my friends are obsessed with it and if I want to keep up with what they're doing I pretty much have to do it on myspace

I don't spend that much time on facebook as I feel its not worth my time. I can't keep up with the notifications, and I just go there to look at some stuff here and there. Sure I have friends, but who doesn't? I don't think face book is boring per say, I just haven't been one to spend so much time on social networks. Nothing against them in general, but that is of my opinion. I find message boards such as this to be a bit more interactive.
