Someone in a military would say "I'm ready to die defending my country!". A scientist would say "For the sake of science, I would give my life unto it!". In religion, one might say "My religion is the true religion and I'm willing to die for it!". And among others...
But for myLotters, what do you think is a good reason for you to die for?

Hi, Fulltank. I think that we should not find any reason to die. We should live happy and enjoyable. We also have to appreciate every moment when we're are still living. Some people are very unlucky that the day they were born, they live in pain and and disease. Some are born in poor, starve and war. They never think to die in anyway, but they hope for live longer in this World. So try not to think about how we are going to die or sacrifice, it is different for a military or scientist that they sacrifice for some reason. Life happy, happiness, and love yourself. Have a great day!

If given a chance i would die for the poor ones i would become a ghost then coz i havent fulfilled my desire to drive off poverty from the world atleast our country so i would rob all the swiss bankers and start donating all that money to the needy ones especially for those who strive hard to have single meal each day so that my soul would be happy and leave this earth completely with a good smile on my face. And i dont think you some one would think to this extent and good discussion Fulltank.gud day.

HI! As you already said, there are more reasons to die for, but the biggest reason to die for is the family. I think there is no one, who can say: " No, I will not give my life to save my relatives!" And if there is, he/she is not a human. I also would give my life for my friends, who are admire very much, or even for a stranger, because I think the life of the others is much more important than my life. And what's your reason, Fulltank?

"And if there is, he/she is not a human."
Wrong. He/she is simply not you, and does not share your needs/values.

This is a good topic Fulltank, and i admire you for putting up a discussion like this. This type pf discussion will surely see how good people are and how kind and selfless people are around us.
My answer for that question is, i am ready to die for what i know is worth dying for.

I will die for my country too and for the sake of the family. Ok wait , I don't want to die right now, I wish I can schedule it because there are dreams left for me that are still unfulfilled. So sad.

Interesting topic. I'm no soldier or scientist so I guess the one thing I would give my life for is my family who always cares for me.

There is only one thing in this world I would consider dying for, and that is to protect/save me and mine. If my country were attacked I would fight and risk dying, but not for the sake of my abstract country, but because attacking my country attacks me and mine. All the other things are abstract ideas not worth a pinch of sh1t in this context.
Perhaps a more useful question for me would be, "Can you give me one good reason for you to kill for?". That would open up a useful dialogue, I would think.

Hello fulltank, although I hope to live for a very long time and am not ready to pass, I would say that I would be ready to die for my children...if it meant that I would have to die to save my kids I wold do it in a heartbeat. I though I haven't live a long full life i have lived a full enough life that I would be willing to sacrifice it to ensure that my kids would have the chance to live a full long life....
