Has da Vinci Code made you think twice about Jesus?

No. Never. I watched the movie and tried appreciating it as a fictional film as what it really is and what it's trying to say. I am a movie and art fan so I had to. But I never really imagined that my faith can be swayed by just a simple book or movie. Happy Mylotting!

The Da Vinci Code is nothing more than a secular creation meant to discredit Jesus. If anything, it just re-affirms for me the fact that Jesus is the Savior, and that He is the Son of God. Why else would everyone else in the world, especially other religions, go through so much trouble over the year to run the name of Jesus down and discredit the message of salvation?? People, whether "religious" or not, do not want to admit that Jesus is the only way to heaven, because that would mean that they would have to have some accountability for their actions, and it would mean that they would not be able to do EVERYTHING they may want to do...

It is a fiction, but it needs to be taken seriously, not that as a Christian, you would believe that nonsense, but that because it was so well written and made to appear as if this fiction was true.
Now most good fiction is that way, but usually when they make it in a film, there is usually a notice that it is just a story and has no basis in fact. But in the Da Vinci Code they did not do it. The danger is that unbelievers and those who are Christian in name only but not by conviction, may question the Bible and perhaps start to believe that somewhere in England or wherever are the physical descendants of Jesus and not HIS spiritual descendants.

No I know its a work of fiction. But I can see how someone would fall for it as being real, a lot of hype for publicity has been put on to making it look like people are offended by it just to get a big turn out at the movie theater and misleads some into believing that its real. Its no different than the recent movies paranormal activities and the 4th kind. These were made to seem as if they were about real events just to get the tickets sales.

No. There isn't an ounce of truth to that book. Its been proven historically, and scientifically false. Its nothing more than a fiction story that its readers took too far. Whether you believe in God, you're Christian, or atheist, you have to look at the facts, and there are none in that book.

Nope, because I have the Truth, Christ Himself, inside and I have His Holy Written Word. Also, after living for more than a half century I fully realize has much baloney to offer that isn't worth the cheapest mayo, mustard or ketchup. It's a shame though that some will sooner believe a movie than actually read the Holy Bible.

hi ruchimom,
Nope. Because for me the story is only fiction and it was never proved to be real and was never stated as true events in our history. Maybe some of its facts are true like legions or associations but the story itself is very fictional. It made me a bit interested in the author's idea and imagination but believing it is true is something I can't agree with.
