Do you use natural remedies or do you use over the counter medicines, or do you go to your doctor?

Well it depends on how much it irritates me lol. If it's only stuffy nose or sore throat, I prefer the natural remedies like eating hot chicken soap etc. But if it makes me dizzy or give me fever, I'd sure take over the counter medicine.

Personally for me I feel it's a waste of time seeing my doctor, normally you have to book in advance and I have to wait for a couple of weeks, unless of course it's urgent, they can't really do much for colds and flues so I tend to seek my own ways of dealing with it. I normally buy over the counter paracetamols and nurofen or Lemsips, I like a nice hot bath to sweat it out of me. Although having said that a couple of hours at the gym will sweat the bugs out of me providing I can make it to the gym in the first place LOL!

I swear by Lemsip and whisky and honey. If I drink enough of the latter then I don't care about the cold! I also like to go to bed with a good book and moan gently so that the women in my life rush up and pay me more attention than I deserve. But then I am a man!

Drink plenty of water, eat fresh juicy fruits and have plenty of rest. But if your flu and cold get worse take the usual medicine you are taking and if its not enough go and see a doctor.
