Hi, guys.
Seems like "I love you" is an ancient but still romantic sentence. So I just wanna know how to say "I love you" in your first language.
And as a Chinese, i of course know how to say: ???(Woh Ai Nie),sth like this pronunciation.
Also, as i Deutsch-learner I know some others coz i'm quite interested in Linguas.
French: Je T'aime.
German: Ich liebe dich.
Italian: Ti Amo.
Russian: ? ???? ?????(Ya tebya lyublyu)
So, others? Mind telling me and how it pronunced?

Philippines do have lots of language to speak to, because this was divided into different places, Luzon-Visayas-Mindanao, and each part do have several laguages, however, our main language is Tagalog...i reside in Visayas region, so i speak Visayan language, "I love you" in Visayan language is "Gihigugma ko ikaw", or "Gihigugma ta ka" ...

Hi, thea09, or to say politely: Bonjour, Mademoiselle thea09.
Hellenic alphabet is not fresh for me. All maths symbols, especially algebra are Hellenic letters, right?
And u mention the word "alphabet" a combination of two Greek letters?
And a English slang "from Alpha to Omega", i familiar that.
And of course, the slang in English "Speak Greek" has the same meaning with "Speak Chinese", right?
thanx for your words.

Hello I am living here in the Philippines, and I Love You in Filipino is "Mahal Kita". Our language originated from Malay and Spanish. But English is also our second official language.

I am Indonesia and in my native language to say I love you is "aku mencintaimu" or "aku cinta kamu". I agree with you, it's the most romantic and impressive expression that all people in the world have.

When we use our NATIONAL language which is Filipino (Philippines) we say "Mahal kita" or "Minamahal kita" or "Iniibig kita". But when I say it in my local dialect which is, Cebuano (Cebu is a province in the Phil.) I say, "Gihigugma ko ikaw"

I am Filipino, so it will be said as " Mahal na mahal kita" roughly translated as I love you very much. Filipino is very syllabic and every word is stressed, so you say every syllable as Ma/hal/ na/ ma/hal/ ki/ta! Unlike in the American accent wherein some words are stressed and some are not, and some even in liaisons.
I am also learning Japanese so I would say " Aishiteru yo" or "I really love you" and you say it as ay/shte/ru yo, the i after sh silent.
