When I was younger I dream of working and traveling outside my country Philippines. Im always curious to see other places and know different culture. Im also fond of tasting other cuisines. This year my dream came true but it was short lived. I came to work in Canada as a hotel room attendant. It was my first time to see and feel the snow, I felt like im in wonderland. I learned a bit about their culture, infact i was able to celebrate my first Canada Day last July. I met a lot of people and i was blessed to meet good filipino friends in Kamloops. They became my second family there while being away from home. Though my work and travel was short lived Im still thankful to God for giving me that wonderful experienced. Now I still have plans in traveling abroad if God forbids me.

That's okay superlulu, I can understand what you're trying to say. Dont worry you can go to Canada in the future if you want to. I met two international students in Canada from your country China but im not sure where they lived. Their names were George and Frank studying at Thompson University, Kamloops British Columbia. I also would love to go to China to see the exotic foods sold in the street.

I love to travel and I have done a little work in different countries. I worked as a children's nanny in Finland. I did a variey of different jobs in Australia, nannying, factory work and charity collecting. I have studied in the Netherlands. I am traveling to Canada in June 2010. I will have Canada Day there. I am glad you enjoyed working and traveling in Canada. I hope to visit the Philippines one day.

hi maximax8! Good for you, you have traveled well. As compared to me coming from third world country I have difficulty in working abroad without proper working permit. Our application to work overseas is compared to finding a needele in the desert. Good luck in going to Canada, the people there are friendly. You are also welcome to come here in my country to eat delicious mango and other fresh fruits.
