Astrology. Are You Like Your Star Sign?

Maybe 50% but for me it's more like 25%.

I can't say the same for Leo, I don't like to lead but am flattered if someone wishes to go along with something I like to do. I don't like a lot of attention or being in a crowd. Both those traits are what they claim Leos enjoy.

I avoid those articles. I remember mom telling me that if we read them we can make them come true ... her method was to read them the day after to see if what they predicted actually did happen.

I am a Cancer, and I think in all reality we are all different! But I discovered , in my later years that I had some traits all this time, I just hadn't used or developed them, after I did, then everything kinda fell into place!

A Cancerian lady I once knew was affected by the Moon (that ruled the sign) and the tides. If there was a combination of a New Moon and High Tide that was everyone...er...out of her way until everything was back to normal. She was well aware of her moods and I felt sorry for her sometimes because she couldn't really control them. She was never nasty, though as she generally was upset about something she had done as opposed to someone else. When she was in a "happy" mood her laugh used to set everyone else off, it was so contagious.

What Star sign are you then, my friend? It is an interesting point you make about being more aware of your traits when you become older. To me, though, it seems to be the other way around. I was obsessed with Astrology before the onset of the internet revolution but if I wasn't I would've got lumbered with someone that wasn't compatible with my sign. However, I'm not supposed to get on with Virgos, but I do!

There are many phases of Leo and I think some of it represents most of us but a lot of it is pure conjecture.

Hello there! Welcome to MyLot my friend! Yes, I have done Birth Charts myself in the past, but - in typical Aries fashion, dropped doing them as quickly as I took the hobby up! I haven't got the patience to stay with anything. A few years ago I had a go at cross-stitching and I don't think I ever finished the pattern I was undertaking. I used to be "addicted" to riding my bike. Now I don't ride it at all! I am blogging my diaries...but haven't typed any entries for quite some time. Are all Ariens like me I wonder? Ironically, I used to read, read and read some more whenever I went out with a new guy. Did I do that with my husband? Nope! Although I do know he is a Dog and I am a Horse in Chinese Astrology! Hello again, Janey1966!! It's a good try... but, no! I'm not a gemini or Aquarius. Those are the sign I would say I know least about. LOL!! By that I mean, when I look at the folks around me... those are the fewest. I've been married to two Leos - neither worked out. and have many Cancer, pisces, Sag. and Capri in my life. Unintentionally. Those also make up my immediate family: Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister - consecutively. I don't know the sign of some friends.... still learning, I guess? Yes, I do know Aries are "quick" = mars ruler... planet of action. I'd love to peer at your birthcharts; both you and your husband. (is that too invasive... i don't really know how people feel about astrology). To me, it is so much fun! I call it a multi-colored window on the world. I say, "Astrology, like snowflakes and windows, are never the same. They vary in size and view, etc." - When two people look out of the same window... they don't see the same thing; it's a matter of interpretation. Tho' I have dropped hobbies quick at times - it's usually because I have mastered it or something new and more challenging has caught my eye. I'd say I am pretty consistent tho'. As far as the horoscope thing goes..it may not be right for you on that particular day but it will be right for someone else. I know that people get paid for writing horoscopes but it's just one of those things.

I have read many books on Astrology over the years so I do know what the traits are of all the signs. It is interesting that you mention Numerology and you are right, that can have a bearing on personality as well. To go even further, in Chinese Astrology I was born in the Year of the Horse, 1966 and my husband was born in the year of the Dog, which was 1970. Even though Aries and Virgos don't normally get on, the fact that - in Chinese Astrology, Horses and Dogs are 2 of the most compatible animals says it all really! It's all fascinating stuff!

Don't worry about it my friend. My Mum has been described as a "Schizo" before now but she shrugged it off because she IS moody! She tends to be more assertive with her family (especially her husband whom she finds easy to bellow at lol) than at work...and she's the boss at work!! There is another Gemini at her work who is completely different from her but does share some of her traits..like, she has to have 2 dogs, Mum has 2 cats, that kinda thing. I know what you mean about "Jane of all trades" because Mum is more like a man in some ways, as she can paint and varnish. She can also multi-task. Watching her in a kitchen is brilliant because she gets flour everywhere and pots and pans are piling high in the sink but by the time she has finished it is back to normal with no crumbs anywhere! Oh, wow, it's SNOWING!! Just noticed it!!! Whoopee!!!! Hehe lol :-)

I can tell you are a Virgo because they are the most skeptical of signs...it's true. Yet, my hubby loves all things Star Trek, how about you? :-)

I know what you mean about being sociable! I knew a Sagittarius lady at work (she was my supervisor) in the 1990s and she was pretty quiet really but the best boss anyone could have because she was so fair, decent, funny and I miss her loads. I didn't appreciate her at the time as I was having "problems at home" with the guy I was living with. Anyway, at our Christmas "do" she was brilliant, really let her hair down but didn't show herself up, you know what I mean? :-)

Very diplomatic answer, typical Libra. I knew someone just like you, and yes, she was good looking but tended to attract the wrong guy because of her sweet smile. Because I was the Aries of the group I would "get rid" of anyone she did not like and not feel bad about it. She would feel TERRIBLE if she had had to do what I did. She thanked me many times for lumbering her with "creeps" as she called them! On the flipside though, males were frightened of chatting me up!

I do too but not as much as I used to. At one time I would construct Birth Charts for my friends but all that has gone by the wayside now.

I have read many times that one has to study the full birth chart in order to find out one's true personality. It is good that you have most of the Capricornian traits.
