What's On Your Ipod?

Okay, I'm not afraid to say that I turned 50 last year (I'm in good shape and not one wrinkle yet, well, maybe one). . . January is the big 51 . . . but people are really surprised what kind of music is on my Ipod. I guess some of my friends are amazed I even have one. What's on my Ipod says a lot about me. Apparently, it surprised no one. So what's on it? The Devil Wears Prada, Haste the Day, Demon Hunter, Red, Kutless, Switchfoot, Fireflight, NickelBack, The Almost, UnderOath, Avenge Sevenfold, and so on. Yep, mostly heavy metal, hard rock, screamo kids!!!! What's on your Ipod and what does it say about you? If anything.

Well, let me see now. It tells me you're about as old as I am. You're a rocker of sorts, not the screaming kind. You like mainstream stuff (as far as music goes) with a touch of "I do things my way." I'm taking a chance but you probably didn't care about fashion much, or at least didn't care about the "in thing." You hated disco and all it stood for. And you love to read!!! That's just my take on things.

Because I love mellow songs and I need it when i need to fall asleep easily, you can find so many lovesongs on my MP4.Love songs from Chicago, Phil Collins, Bread, England Dan and Ford Coley, Angela Bofill, Anne Murray, Kenny Loggins, Kenny Rogers, 911, Nsync and Backstreetboys just to name a few. New wave songs are there too, and some songs from the 80's. I also have rock ballad by REO Speedwagon, Firehouse, Cheap Tricks. I don't have videos but I will definitely put one.

Oh my, that takes us way back. "Me and You and a dog named Boo?" LOL. You are a mellow girl. I did like Firehouse and saw Cheap Trick in concert once. Strange to say but they opened up for Lita Ford. Go figure. REO was good but Nsync and Back Street Boy????? Shudder!

I do not have an ipod yet, but my husband has. He has all the Louis Lamour books on it that he can find, plus all of Harry Potter's, and the King James version of the Bible, plus some radio shows. I would like to load some of my Agatha Christie books I downloaded from the net, but cannot do it because there is no room. So now I have to get one for myself, and right now I cannot afford it.

Did not. I did get a couple of gift cards and I am hoping there is an Ipod in the Mall or at the Bay. I do have a year before one of them runs out. I was thinking of getting a couple of frying pans, but they are gift cards and why not use them for something I can enjoy? But they were not for that much,so maybe I will get a couple of dvds for them.

Awww, it's nice to share . . . though sharing head/ear phones can be nasty business sometimes.

You've got some good stuff on there! I'm into heavy metal and I love a good singer with a ripping guitar solo. I also love Christian music because its always uplifting, even when it makes me think. I think I have everybody on my iPod that you have minus Nickleback, I can't get into them. I have some Steve Vai, Satch, Alex Masi and some other instrumental guitar players as well.

Wow, there is a little bit of just about everything on my ipod. I have oldies, country, folk, jazz, Irish, classical, easy listening and a bunch more. I guess most of the room is taken up with classic rock though. I would have to say that's my favorite and most listened to. Groups like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple, Grand Funk Railroad, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Bad Company, Cream, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Emerson Lake and Palmer, The Doors, etc. The list would be very long. I actually need to get a bigger ipod!

On my Ipod are Aerosmith, Beyonce, Black Eyed peas, Miley Cyrus' Party in the USA, Natasha Bedingfield, James Morrison, No Doubt, Oasis, Incubus, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and some other 800 songs and music videos. Yeah, I believe that the kind of music we're listening to says a lot about us in the same manner as the friends we have reflect what we are. ;)

You do love pop with a little Aerosmith squeezed in there!! I have the shuffle too. It's getting a little too small for me now. Need more memory or whatever they call it.

Well, I think I know one song by Britney but I can't recall the song right now. I've never heard either Lady Gaga and Beyonce sing. Sorry. But if you like them, it's a good way to start the day.
