Is it just me, or do the majority of people have a health-related new years resolution? I see a lot of people talking about losing weight... Getting in shape... Eating better... etc. All for their new years resolution. But how many of these people actually stick with those resolutions? I mean, why can't we make these changes when they need to be made, and not just the for the sake of a new years resolution?

Hi - good topic...
I think most people would fall into the whole idea of making a new start in a new year - turning over a new leaf, and starting afresh.
It's not easy to make a new start at any time of year, and if someone can use the new year as an additional motivation, thats good. But like you say, quite a lot of people dont actually stick with their resolutions.

Agreed. Most people follow their goals for a little while... but they don't keep up with it very long.

Hi your so right
my resolution isn't to lose weight I'm pregnant so that's a bad plan my resolution will be to try to stick to eating while like I've been trying to do and sticking to no drinking until she's born . I had a crash course in oh I'm pregnant no this no that crap. Wasn't planned for it's like going through rehab, I think after the babies born I want to workout out and get back to size after ,but i haven't gained much and I'm small so I might go back to my size I'll let you know if I go back to my size after. I think health is a good thing to keep so that what I want that's it.

Babies are definitely a surefire way to gain weight! Eating well while pregnant is important though! :D
