Who do you think are the favourites for FIFA World cup, to be held in South Africa in June 2010.Well my favourites would be Italy, the defending champions, Brazil, and Argentina. But you never know, there's always a tough competition and nail-biting finishes in this game. So, I wish all the best for all the teams, and eagerly waiting for the game to begin.

Hard to say now. Everything is changing. Even N.Korea may has his day. More than 40 years ago, they even killed the Italy with 1:0.
So i won't hashly take a conclusion. Well, Where's Pele's prediction? Who's the poor guy this round?

Hi mariah,
I always support England and Brazil for the International competitions. There is no different for the World Cup 2010. I hope one of the can lift the title next year especially for the England. They always have a lot of good players but never fulfill their ability and responsibility before except 1966 when they host the world cup (not without controversy).
But, for this edition, I hope teams from African nation can give a very strong challenge to the European and South American team. I would love to see at least one team from that continental can reach the semi final or even better if they could reach the final. Beside it would give local people (Africans) something to cheer (and the stadium keep full of spectator), it is also good for the football as a whole.

My favorite team would be France. the EURO 08 finalist... they have the perfect mixture of experience and young players and after their controversial entry into the world cup play offs i cant wait to see how they do their world cup.My second favorite would b spain. Now spain is he most powerful team but say they say anything can happen in this form of the game.
