With the senate and the house of representatives now well and truly with the democrats President Bush is now on back foot on several issues. Most difficult of all those issues is his Irag policy. Oppononets of Irag invasion will be reinvigorated. This begs the question: Was Bush right in going to Iraq?

IMHO, Bush went to Iraq for the oil and that is the only reason he sent troops to die there. To lay claim that US went to Iraq to liberate the oppressed people is unfound for. Why cant them Iraqist liberate themselves? Why does America need to do it?.. These questions goes unanswered unless you spell the word 'OIL'!

Well may be. But he has proved his incompetency by having our troops there for too long.

Thank you for your response. I think you ahve a point. But Bish has also been incompetent and he is stayed more than long enough there. I dont think we need more of our troops to die.

If anyone thinks that he was right then that person has all the qualities of becoming a dictator like Bush.......................................

I am not sure if such a strong statement is valid. After all Saddam was a dictator and Bush has been democratically elected. We have to justify what we say. My point is more on the leadership qualities of Bush. I feel he has failed. But calling him a dictator is funny according to me. Thanks for your response nevertheless.

Its not right for him to go to Iraq. The reason he said was that Iraq was having weapons of mass destruction. Did he find that in Iraq? No. He just goes there for the oil. There are other countries in the world that needs efficient governments. Why not going to these countries and help them out to build democracy and a stable government.

Do watch "Fahrenheit 9/11", an award-winning documentary film by an american filmmaker and political activist Michael Moore. You can see some of the ugliest works of President Bush and his father too. Politics is a dirty business and they have made it dirtier.

He was wrong indeed. His father did the same to Iraq. I guess he's taking it personally.
