I was employed at a mall and being assigned at the grocery. I was a cashier and my job is to cater the customers, and before anything else when they reached you counter as a cahier you should greet them a warm welcome such us hi Maam good mornign etc. I dont understand people who dont respond when you greet them, or they just dont hear us or pretending they did not hear us? Shorlty i would say they are just snoob.. and sometimes they act so bossy and sometimes raise voice if you are having a delay in your counter, why dont they just low down their voice. It is not easy being a cashier, presence of mind and it deals money, one mistake and can daffect the rest. If cashiers gives greetings they deserve a respond, because it felt so embarass if not. ^_^ wenks
