i was reading a article on yahoo and it states that one day in the future in America whites could be the minority! wow !! Do you really think that it's possible? is there anyone out there that thinks whites will never be a minority? why or why not? if you want to read the article you can go to yahoo news and type in the name of the article "white Americans' majority to end by mid-century". check it out very interesting.

If we base it on population growth it's possible, whites are not that keen in making babies if you compare it to some races. But what's in a race anyway? as long as everyone is governed by the same laws, it should not be a problem. Cheers!

yes we all should be treated as people and not a color i dont know who printed this article and there true reason for it, but i posted this question on mylot just to see what people think about the subject. thanks for your input.

All I have to say is go South, whites are a minority. Go East, whites are a minority, go West, you might be ok for a bit. Go North, plenty of white snow. LOL O yeah, learn to speak spanish now.

yeah i defiantly need to learn spanish, yeah you are right i guess it may depend on where you live, but according to the article i think it was talking about all over the U.S well you know the 2010 census is right around the corner, so for some people this may be a scary thought and for other people they don't care, or it dose not bother them. I guess by posting the article still shows how obsessed with race we are as Americans who knows. But in reality should it really matter we are all just human beings right? people have there right to there opinion, you know. like yourself. go north huh plenty of snow yeah you aint lying about that ha ha ha

I think this is ALREADY the case...look at how many blacks, mexicans, chinese, japanese, and people of other nationalities already live here. All these other races and nationalities combined could likely put the white population into the minority VERY quickly...

Apartheid? oh my god, when will you guys stop this? Whats there in races? After all you will be american citizens no matter what color of skin you have. Minority-Majority, black-white, everything has nothing to do with the country. I dont know why that kind of thing is still posted in yahoo, and people wont complain about it.

i dont know when we will be able to stop this, unfortunately America is obsessed with race. Yes we are American citizens until the matter of color and then there is a divide, its not like in India or other countries where the color of your skin is not a big deal and people represent there country as there nationality and not there skin color. And as far as complaining I dont know the answer to that question either. I just posted the question because i was just happened to see this article and thought it would be an interesting topic to bring up on mylot and to see what other people like yourself think about it.
