Has any of you tried using Readon Internet TV? If not I would like to share my experience with it. It is a free software which needs to be downloaded and installed. I started using it since version 5.0.0. The latest version is 5.9.0. Readon offers live TV viewing from all over the world. For example I could view three channels from my country, RTM1, RTM2, and Muzik Aktif. I have also tried viewing channels from other countries. Most of the time I get smooth viewing. I am typing this while tuned in to RTM1. Other offerings are radio streaming, movies on demand, and live sports. There isn't much problem with radio streaming, while there are still issues with movies on demand. Fast computers with fast connections may not face the same problems. Since there are adult channels there is now an option to set a password. I find Readon to be suitable for my needs. There is still room for improvement, but it is a still a recommended software.

Where did you get it? What are the system requirements? Is it truely "free" or will I have to pay for it after a month or so? Do I need additional software to make programs run or would what I have work? When starting a disscussion try to think of those types of questions, because I know I'm not going to randomally download something like that without knowing those things.

Forgive me for assuming too much. I usually use the two sites mentioned in my comment to the first responder. It is really free. No hidden hooks. Well at least I have not found any until now. I have tried several other free streaming software, but they are nowhere close to Readon. No additional software needed. They are optional. It runs on XP, Vista and Windows 7. Currently I have it installed on - one PC(nine), Athlon,Elite integrated motherboard (the cheapest), 2Gb of RAM, XP - Lenovo laptop, Intel, IGb RAM, XP - Compaq laptop, Intel 1Gb RAM, Vista All three pass through the same router before accessing the Internet. Same performance.

IF you have nor found it, use Softpedia or FreewareFiles. I believe you will not be totally disappointed with it. The improvement over version 5.0.0 is great. There is a better interface, and a better integration with several plug-ins. Do bear in mind that a lot depends on the Internet connection.
