mood to create a new one either I just started to give the BR to the unresolved responses. To my surprise I found out that I have been very lazy that a few responses of even twelve months old were waiting there to be resolved. As I was giving the Best responses to some of the really best ones I could see that those friends are no more here in Mylot. They are very smart and witty and those discussions are quite interesting and intelligent to the core. I start resolving their discussions giving the BR to the best ones knowing that they may not be seeing them. But I feel like doing it as a tribute to the wonderful time we had together. If they are here in MYlot again in some other name I would like to get a hint of their new identities.

Many are no longer active here. There is no problem in awarding them the br as they might reappear here one day.

It is a long time since I responded to any of your discussions too Zandi.Of course I was also not logging in for quite some time. But even otherwise I have not sighted too many of your topics.Or did I miss them? How are you?

In case you miss me, I am very much here and have been hopefully recovering my inundation. And to let you know, also that I do not mind BRs either. So, think before you do. Seriously, I think this is a beautiful post which we can mark as a tribute to our old friends who do not come here anymore. Some have come with different user names of which we know and also do not know. I remember about our friends Ressie, Roz who came under different names but for brief period. And I miss Theresa, Vik, Worthy, Ronald, Chris, Lordwarwizard, charms, Tammy, Nakshatra, Aidonia, Liran to name a few. I wish everyone and also the ones whom I am forgetting here, very good life. Now, I am getting emotional. I better get back to resolve mine.

This is an emotional discussion meant to be a tribute to my great friends especially Transdisc, dfn and Goodie. I love you for understanding the undertone of my discussion Mimpi. PS.I will never miss you.

I haven't seen Transdisc for a while now. I just hope he is fine. That reminds me one of my good friends here, has been very enough to share her email Id with her close friends just in case she can't log in and we cannot keep in touch! I really appreciate her. That goes to show the true essence of mylot.

It is kinda sad to look back at old discussions and responses only to find out that the people who contributed much to the discussion have moved on from myLotting. Others just have ultimately forgotten about this place. Others have been quite busy with their real lives that they dont have time for myLotting anymore. There are also those who just have given up myLotting altogether because of some reason or other. Ive been feeling kinda lazy doing any online things. Just the task of opening my computer is a bit of a struggle. That's because Im kinda seeing work when I see my computer. I have lots of paper work to finish before the start of the holiday break, and the procrastinator in me is flashing signals not to open the computer. Well, I cant really keep out of the internet cause there are lots of reasons to pop in. Im just skirting around the work programs like Microsoft Word and Excel.LOL Goodluck in finding old myLot friends.^_^

Hi balasri, Me very much here LOL - I too do that occassionally , to go through old discussions, not necessarily started by me alone. I find some very interesting discussions and answer them, and find that even others answering them, giving them a new lease of life ....All the best and have a great day

I know that all my best friends will agree with my view of giving the BR to the worthy discussions as a tribute to our old friends discussion whether they are still here or not. Thanks for agreeing with me.

Oh yes, though I was not very good friends with any of the people who are missing here but I know what you mean. Its been four years for me too and I remember the days when most pages of mylot was full of good meaningful informative discussions. it was such a pleasure to interchange our views with them and enrich ourselves in the process AND if I may say, there was a lot less acrimonious discussions and trolls here! But I believe that everything moves on and so does mylot and new members have joined with some very good ones.

hi balasri I know that feeling as I had to do some of mine that were a year old and gave best responses not really knowing if they were still here, but I hoped they were and maybe under a new name too. But I see so many people now saying that they do not see any interesting discussions and it amazes me as I can browse and always find something I like, so maybe you all do not read the whole discussion and just dismiss it after a few sentences. I mean we exist in a new fast food , fast everything mind set. also as I look at my discussions I again wonder are mine and others like me that uninteresting that so many say they cannot find any interesting discussions.I have seen this now by so many people for a whole month. does not any one ever browse to find discussions that appeal to you? I know I do.

Well it is not every time that I do not find any interesting discussion.May be I have not tried hard to scour for them. But one cannot deny that there is a ebbs and flows of good discussions here. And moreover what is god for one person may not be attractive to another one.So it is a matter of opinion. And thanks for the wonderful response.I appreciate it very much.

I've been lazy too. I promised myself that every time I started a new discussion, I'd go and resolve an old one, but I havent' exactly stuck to that. PS I don't give BRs to people I know are gone. I'd rather give them to somebody who is still here.

Yes I can understand. We have been very busy with the other activities of Mylot that the unresolved discussions keep piling up. Allotting a little time for resolving the discussions whenever we enter the Mylot site would be the best solution.

BR giving is a great pasttime for those who need to find something to do while other parts of the sites aren't working, or just when we run out of things to discuss, respond or comment on. I also noticed quite a bit of people are MIA. I remember the username of the first one I've heard of just leaving...

I too wonder where a lot of the old members I have not seen around here for ages have got to. I think that if a response deserves a BR is should be awarded regardless of whether the user is still a member here or not. I think it is a lovely idea to award the BR as a tribute for the wonderful work these people have produced while they were here that has enriched the site and made it what it is today!

I am not finding any interesting discussions to respond to today either. That is why I found the title of your discussion so interesting. Why do you think all these mylot friends of yours have left? I just finished commenting on another discussion that was discussing the same topic, "no interesting discussions on mylot". I see that you have over 9,000 posts, so to me you are an experienced myloter. So, please tell me what kinds of topics and discussions are interesting to you. This will help me in posting future discussions.
