I'm cooking dressing for Christmas again this year. Last year it tasted awful. I need a good recipe if anyone has one. I followed one last year and the dressing was dry as the desert. So help me out. Oh yeah no Stove Top please.LOL

Ok. Get a package of Pepperage Farm Dressing (I prefer the cornbread style but the herb is also good). Do not make it like it says on the package unless you are stuffing the turkey with the dressing. We make ours in a large cake pan or throw away roaster type pan.
Anyway, take two cans of chicken broth, add chopped onion, celery and carrots. Cook the broth on the stove with the chopped veggies and a stick of Parkay. Cook until veggies are tender. Set aside and let cool.
Pour dry dressing in large bowl. Add cooled chicken/veggie/butter broth and mix well (it will usually clump up). Add one egg and a can of water. Mix well. Spoon into greased pan and smooth. This is how we make it but you can add gibblets, oysters or whatever else you want when you mix it all up.
