Is face and character related?

I heard that face and character is related from my father when I was still young. He has a book that discuss the relation between face features and character. I wonder where is that book right now. The book is about looking at a specific face feature that describes the person character and not about having a beautiful face related to a beautiful personality or vice versa.

I don't think a character can be visible through a person's face.I have met a lot of girls who are deemed pretty but are really suck-ups.I have met a lot of good-looking guys who are arrogant.a pretty face doesn't equate to a beautiful personality.like,our neighbor here.she is deemed cute by some,but I don't like her personality since she thinks she is too important because she is deemed "pretty".

I don't think so .In my experience I have come across the most handsome vile guys and the prettiest B-----s.At the same time I can also point out a golden hearted person with the face of a ruffian.Looks can always be deceptive.The true character of a person can be fathomed only after being with them for some time.

Beautiful face usually make us feel happy.So people like to believe people with beautiful face.But in fact i think face and character have no relations.Rose is prickly.Beautiful face may be just a disguise.People with general apperances may have warm hearts. We can not judge a person with her or his apperance.

Hai friends,face and character relation is like a fruit.I think ur confused why I have quoted that example.Right.I will clear that.One cannot give the taste of the fruit by seeing its appearence.Can we? A good-looking fruit may be rotten inside and vice-versa.So,whats the point in comparing face and character relationship.Yes,I do agree that FACE IS THE MIRROR IMAGE OF UR THOUGHTS.Its said that whats in your heart is on your face.I think your thoughts relate to your face but not character.If ur happy or sad in your heart,its visible in your face.So,whats it to do with character.A good-looking person may be bad inside.An ugly looking person may be a good hearted person.So,never go by Face and Character Comparision.

Well, if we say that a cute girl will have a nicer personality than a rather not cute girl, then no I don't think so. But if we're talking about bone structures or probably facial expression then I think they do relate to someone's personality. just like you can differentiate a bright/smart person by their eyes-like the way they are looking at you. or a kind and gentle people with bright smiles on their face.

As I understand it there is a general truth in the claim that there is a connection between facial features and personal characteristics. Beauty does not reflect character. It is the combined features which need to be interpreted as a whole. The problem is most people take only one or two features for specific interpretation. This usually leads to an inaccurate interpretation. So far a general interpretation on those I came across have been proven to be generally true. I have refrained from making any refined interpretation because of the various factors involved.

Everyone in the world have a different face and a different character.They must have some connection.Some good hearted people always have smile on their faces.Some bad people always wrinkle their eye brow.The more people we experience the more we will relize what relation between face and character.Well a face beatiful or not doesn't have some connection with one's character.Some ugly persons have a kind heart.Some pretty girls behave greedy.

Face is the index of mind. We can make out a persons character from his expresions

No way! But upto an extent yes! Face is the index of mind. We can make out what is there in his/her mind. We can make out the persons character from his facial expressions.

Well i don't really think so that we can judge a person's character from his/her face , it is not necessary that a cute girl or a cute boy will be having a nice character , what if a person is not good in condition but very good from heart and have a good character then we will be a fool to judge him from his face . Like old quote - Never judge a book from it's cover , always judge the book from it's content and same for humans - Never judge a person with his appearance , a butcher may be cruel to lamb but not to humans. have a nice day
