My email and PTC accounts was hacked last weekend

It all happened last weekend that my email and many of my paid to click sites were hacked by a hacker. I was lucky enough due to my safety precautions, I was able to get all of my accounts back, plus complete details about the hacker. I sent him an email saying him that I will handover his details to the cyber cell for taking some action. I was lucky this time, but don't know if it happens again in the future. So I have taken extra precautions so that no one is able to hack my accounts again. What precautions have you taken to safe guard your details on the world wide web?
