Has it snowed near you?

Snow has been falling in London like mad!
It started yesterday for two hours but then stopped and today again. My nose is so cold, even with the heater on I am still freezing. But at the end of the day, we all still love the snow even if it gives some downsides such as being 'cold' which I hate.
Also snow makes it the perfect christmas so I hope it stays on snowing throughout December and maybe even in the new year.

I am about 22 miles north of London in Hertfordshire and we have had heavy snow here nearly all the schools have been closed much to the delight of my children as they get to start their Christmas holidays a day early.
They do forecast more heavy snow later today.
I am not a fan of the snow have never really liked it but the excitement of my younger children does rub off on me and we ended up having a snowball fight this morning.

Yes it has.It was about a month ago. It is the heavest one I have ever seen. In Xi'an it snowed for about 6 hours and fell a layer of 20cm. What a heavy snow! I heard from my fater later that it even fell a lay of 40cm in my hometown! What a shame not being able to experience it i my hometown! On the campus, many trees were damaged and a lot of branches were broken. The other thing that was not exciting was that then the temperature was not low enough so the snow began to melt right after it stopped snowing, leaving mud and water on the ground. Terrible!

It doesn't snow here in DFlorida. At least not where I live. I think we had a lite dusting of some kind back in 2000 before I moved here, but that's the closest its ever come (at least in my lifetime) But once in a blue moon the panhandle of our state gets it. That's at least eight to ten hours away from where I live in Daytona.

It doesn't snow much where I live in the southern part of the usa. There were a few snowflakes but they went away. I like the snow it is pretty, but I don't like the cold weather that comes with snow.

sure! i live near mountains in the north of Italy, near the alps, mountains starts about 50 m from my home so snow is close to me. But now is only in the high part of the mountain beacause here the temperature is about -6 °C but the sky is clear and without rain there is no snow. I like snow, i hope that it will comes soon i would like to go with snowboard and to make a snowman.
