Our car was totalled...

in an accident close to home. Nobody was hurt thank God. But our car was. As it was the other persons fault for doing a u-turn on a four lane road, their insurance is going to pay us. So, we have to buy a new car. We live in new york. Where the winter weather hits hard, so we are looking on buying a car that drives well in snow, I hate driving in the snow, so i want to make sure im not slipping and sliding all over the road. Any ideas on what would be the perfect car to look into for the winter weather?

Hi, AGaray! Sorry your car got totaled. Some vehicles handle better than others, but as far as traction goes alot of it has to do with the tires that are on the vehicle. There are tires out there that have better traction than others, and they even have tires to help in snow driving. These types of tires are usually more expensive but from what i hear they are well worth the price paid for them. Good luck on your car shopping.
