Success on Traffic Exchanges.

If you've used traffic exchanges, exactly how successful have you been? Personally, I've had a moderate level of success. Nothing ground breaking but nothing that will keep me up at night. The trick I think is to not get tripped up in signing up for more than you can handle. I stick with about six or seven at any one time, even though there are dozens of really appealing traffic exchanges. Still, I've got some referrals for my online income opportunities and also made some extra cash on the side. One rule of thumb I would suggest is not to invest any money into anything that has not paid out to you first but that's just the way I look at things.

I stopped using TE. It's a waste of time for me (not mentioning the internet connection cost). Traffic Exchange: All sellers. No buyers. That's the truth.

I'd like to add some correction. There is still hope in TE: If you can make your fellow sellers buy on you. That's the only way.

I have done okay using them. I find several referrals for other traffic sites each month. I also attract referrals for a few of my marketing programs from TE's , along with make a few customer sales. Two of the sites I belong to offer surfing rewards and I've received payout a few times from them. I agree about not investing money in a TE until you know for sure that they will pay you. My rule of thumb is to cashout twice before considering an upgrade.

That's a smart way to look at things. I have used several traffic exchanges, some with better results than others. I have never upgraded at any of the traffic exchanges although I have been tempted. If I were earning money from them that might be different. I mean, some do pay minimal amounts such as Smiley Traffic and Easy Hits 2 U, for example, and I have seen many programs saying you can earn more money through these exchanges by upgrading and surfing, but I don't think I have enough time to invest in that. I have obtained quite a few active referrals for different things by using traffic exchanges, especially those with high membership. Best wishes!
