Did you join myLot just to make money?

i joined mylot cuz it's a great way to share my opinions and earn money on the same site! seems like u are new here... then happy mylotting willowgirl!:)

I wanted to see what people would actually say if they were paid money! You know some people stay quiet all the time because maybe they are scared of what ppl might think of them or something like that, but I figured if they were paid they might be motivated to write and then it might be interesting to see what kind of things they would say! :)

Hi: i completely agree with you and i also like to add that you have found simply the best site for sure, mylot is not paying me for telling this but i don't know a site like this where you can actually earn money. Lol. XD. It's great and I think I will never get bored of doing something that it's easy and nice such as sharing my views with the rest of the world and reading what the other people have to say too. Honestly, yeah, I did join just for the money. I've never been one to get into forum posting but when I heard about MyLot I thought that it sounded like a pretty easy way to make some extra cash every month... Boy was I wrong!! I fiddle around on here a couple of hours a day almost everyday but it takes me usually three months to make payout. Apparently I must be enjoying the site or I wouldn't keep doing it without getting paid for it every month like I expected to in the beginning.

I think making a regular payout, even as much as every 3 months is fantastic! I love chatting to people anyway and lately I think I like chatting on the internet to people even more! In a way it feels safer. I had some bad experiences with some people lately but I still love people. It's just that now I love people a bit more in the way I love tigers. They are beautiful and wonderful creatures, but I'm just not sure I actually want one in my house!
I'm sure you are enjoying being here. I think it's great to talk and connect with others. I get the impression you might be exactly the kind of person I signed up here about. The kind of people who say internet forums are not for me, and are maybe a little down on them. I'm alwasys a bit amazed when those kind of people sign up to facebook or something, it makes me think "I really don't understand you!"
I'm not sure it's an entirely easy way to make a little money but I think it's definitely FUN! :)

Originally I joined MyLot because I was invited by a friend who I'd got to know on Yahoo! Answers. It seemed a similar (and, perhaps, better) sort of place at the time and the fact that one could earn money was an added incentive.
I have long ago decided that I love writing but that, somehow, I can't do it unless I have someone to write TO! Answering questions (to which I know or can find the answer) and (hopefully) helping people to solve problems seems to be what I am good at. I like to think that I built up a small reputation in Y! Answers and may have done here, too. To be honest, it's only a very small reputation and only in quite a small corner of the Internet but it's fun and I have made a few friends here. In the three or so years I've been a member of MyLot I've also made a few dollars, which is kindo of a bonus.

At first I joined to make money but after joining I like this site, it is a relief to daily life, an escape, and it also increase knowledge. Lots of nice people here that gives valuable knowledge to me. Just ask(start discussion) when you want to know something.

When I first came here, it was all about the money, and it still is, but it is much more than just that as sharing, and learning are more important. If anyone says they aren't here for the money, I don't really think they would be telling the truth, as I am sure we are all here for the money, but oaverall, we really neeed to stp back and look at mylot and why we are really here. I love sharing mu views with others, and I like saying what they have to say too. What makes mylot so unique is the fact there is a wide diverse of cultures in here, each of here to learn from the others. I have also made lots of friends, much more than I ever thought I would. I am havng lots of fun n here and I hope to be here for a long time. good luck to you and happy mylotting.
