I've been packing cigs wrong..For years!

I feel ridiculous. I always wondered why my cigarettes were never that packed when I took them out of the box. I am so silly. Ha. A friend of mine pointed it out to me about a week ago - that I was packing the wrong END of the pack. I felt absolutely RIDICULOUS. Have you ever had one of these moments? Where you feel totally stupid about something you thought you were doing right all this time - you were actually doing exactly the opposite of what you should've been? And at what point during your smoking "career" did you learn how to correctly pack cigarettes?
