There's something wrong with my left eye?

I feel that there is really something wrong with me left eye. It started last week. My left eye hurts and I don't why? It just hurts. I checked my to see if there's something stocked in it but there's nothing. So right now, I'm always closing my left eye for some seconds for it not to hurt. I'm also going out to a check up. What do you think is happening on my eye? It hurts and I feel like I wanted to close it.

do you wear contact lens?
do you feel dry eye?
are there increasing secretion?
you should be chronic conjunctivitis or superficial punctate keratitis

I've experienced that before and have my right eye checked. The doctor said it got irritated. I can't look sideways and it hurts too. He found this very tiny grain of sand or something under my eyelid and advised be to not wear contact lenses for awhile.

Hello Bianca. It sounds like you have something in that eye, since your tendency is to want to keep it closed. I'm glad you're going to have it checked out, since it could be any number of things. Our eyes are so precious. Let us know what you find out!
