Heartburn?

Since last night before I went to bed, I have been having crazy weird chest pains to the right of center. I've never really gotten these before so I'm wondering if it's just heartburn. It feels like squeezing and tightening and it hurts! When I move my shoulder backward or forward it hurts even more. Is this heartburn or should I be worried? Does anyone know how to get rid of heartburn with any home remedies? I don't have any money to buy any meds...

You should definitely see a doctor, just in case this is more than heartburn.

heartburns usually occur in the center (the esophagus). and squeezing/tightening is not what people usually describe the discomfort in heartburn (kind of a burning sensation). so what you have there may not be heartburn, but something else. do you have any family history of heart disease? chest pains are not something to be ignored. you should seek proper medical assistance.

Leilin already said that this sounds more serious than heartburn, I had bad heartburn/acid indigestion before and it was always in the middle of my body, never to a side, and it was just a feeling like my tummy was on fire, nothing like what you are describing, I would really go to the doctor because this does not sound like heartburn, or go to WebMD.com and they have a symptom checker there, and maybe you can find out what is really going on. It is free, I use it all the time. Otherwise, milk always helped my heartburn/acid indigestion.
