As a child I always relish the thought of seeing Santa riding on his sled while being pulled by reindeers from the North pole.. the thought of receiving gifts from him.. In a way this made me a good boy during those times otherwise I will not be receiving any christmas present from him.. He did not frustrate me though as everytime I woke up I saw I always see Christmas presents on my bed, door room and socks I put on for those gifts.. Though I did not receive personally from him nor did I see him put those gifts for me on those places I knew then that it was him who placed those gifts for me... Now that I have grown old how i wish I could bring back those wonderful moments! I have this strange feeling that at my age I am still hoping to see santa up there in the sky! Is this an abnormal feeling.. Or is this a normal thing

Hi! Yes, I think he is for real. Well, maybe he doesn't goes around the world just in one night, but he really exists. Santa lives in Finland with his dwarfs, reindeers and wife. The place where he lives calls Lapland, and I have seen him many times on TV. I even have friends, who have lived in Finland for several years, and they told me he is really for real, because they have seen him "live", not just on TV like me. So that's why I can tell for sure: " YES, SANTA IS FOR REAL!!!" Keep believe in him!

Santa is real for children who are rich but for poor children He is not.. and will keep wondering how Santa is cruel, unfair and selective.. They will keep on wondering why rich children always receive gifts from Santa during christmas while they receive none... It should be them who should receive gifts as rich children can buy gifts even without Santa giving them while poor children cannot and should receive gifts from Him.. Where is justice here..

I wouldn’t think it is abnormal to long for the magic of Santa and his reindeers. I have an eight year old who still believes in Father Christmas and I have been living the magic with her, writing to him, going to see him with a list and leaving milk and cookies for him on Christmas Eve. I became aware a couple of days ago that this may be the last year because she is starting to question the reality of Santa and I know she’ll catch on pretty soon and that will be the end of the fantasy! I will grieve when that day comes but you know what? Although my daughter will know that Santa does not really come down our chimney every year, everything he stands for does indeed exist and I will continue to believe...

Hello Sammy Even at my age I still believe there is one and yes I would love to see him on his sleigh, It is not the Santa that everyone makes it out but I do believe there is one somewhere so you are not alone on this one

Houston we have a problem! It is wonderful when we can reminisce of our younger days especially when they were good ones. I can remember waiting as my children does now, for Santa so I could open those gifts that he brought for me. Although, St Nicholas was real I learned early on that he did not come down a chimney nor did he fly through the night with his reindeers. But, the promise and hope that the story brings to every girl and boy are a tradition that I feel we should hold on to. The holiday season is about life and love and giving to those in need and to our children that are deserving of it(not naughty, but nice). It is sought of strange that you would still be hoping to see Santa in the sky but at the same time it's awesome to feel like a kid again.

I think that it is very normal to long for the innocent feelings that we had as a young child, I wish I could go back and not learn that Santa wasn't real, I would have had a lot more fun playing make believe than realizing that my parents got everything

santa claus is real maybe not in a physical form as we all know its the parents that buy the presents but that does not mean he is not real in somebodies heart and mind. A bit like god for some people theres no hard evidence that he exists but in peoples hearts and minds god exists. So yes santa is real aslong as people continue to believe the minute people stop believing then santa will no longer be.

Hi there, santa claus is just a folklore. The santa thing came from a bishop way back then who has a good work for charity (St. Nicolas), but time goes by... the santa image replaced his works. In short, santa is not a real one. He is just a symbol of commercialism promoted by companies especially coca-cola. Santa for me distract the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of Christ. I think the Nativity Scene should be the center of Christmas and not any santa thing. Well some say santa shows the virtue of giving and sharing, yes he shows... but Christ shows selfless love and more than giving gifts. He give His life for us. Every Christmas, I wish that I can show love to everyone as Christ had loved me. Merry Christmas.
