Santa Claus Tales..

Back when I was young we used to spend Christmas at my grandparents in the Philippines. They told us (grand children) to be good throughout the year because Santa Claus will give us gifts and fill our stockings with candies. We used to be very obedient till the eve of Christmas. We really receive gifts with a note from Santa Claus. LOL! I really did believe that it was Santa who gave us those gifts, till one night before Christmas, I saw grandpa putting gifts on the Christmas tree. I was bit dissappointed though, but was still very happy to receive those gifts. I think the idea of Santa Claus is to bring happiness to everyone. I miss Christmas in Philippines and I surely miss my Grand pa and Grandma Santa Claus. How about you, can you tell me about your Santa Clause Tales? What do you think about it?

I used to believe my parents too, because they gave me a gift that said Made in America, and I believed that santa came from america. I think I won't tell my kids santa claus tales because I don't want them to think that I've ever lied to them! :) I suppose they will find out soon enough anyway, that santa claus is a nice fairytale, just like other fairy tales. you are very blessed to have known your grandpa. both my grandpas passed away when my parents were very young so I have never known them.
