open theatre

First time we went to open theatre. It was a nice experience. We watched the film 2012. Film was also very good.
We have to enter the theatre with our car and we can sit inside the car or by sitting on floor. Very big screen and speekers near to us. Our kids also enjoyed a lot. snak shop and hotel also inside theatre only. Paralaly we can have our food and drinks.
It is nice to watch evening show or night show. I feel it will not be nice to watch at day time.
Now afterwards i prefer to watch the movies inside the open theatres.

We called those "drive-ins" when I was a kid - don't see them around much anymore - take up too much real estate - and if its cold, you run the engine, and that uses gas...
Ahhh - but I remember taking pillows, sitting on the hood of the car, leaning on the windshield with the speaker next to me - such good old days! When I was young and thin enough to climb onto the hood of the car and not dent it!
