Hello friend,
I only had one daughter, and yes,you are right dear,it is easier to relate with daughter-mother relationships.
I had 2 other sons, but,it's not like how my daughter can talk almost everything with me.
My two sons also had different interests than my daughter, and with the dress...i can still remember how i love to do her hair.
She has very long hairs...you can see her picture in my profile..,now it's just inches away from the floor.
I wish you all the luck for a little girl dear

I would surely say a girl even if I am single now. I would surely want to have a baby girl through my wife when I get married. After so much of female infanticide in my country and also, the lack of freedom and liberty to women, I want to have a girl in the family and see to it she makes her mark and plays a role model for others.
Let's just hope that my prayers are answered by the universal consciousness some day. But yes, the population of girls need to increase now. The ratio of women is reducing in India slowly. Especially, in the rural areas.

Well, I actually like both, no matter a boy or a girl, he or she is my child, gender really doesn't matter to me. But of course, I wish to have both boy and girl, so that they can grow up together and understand boys and girls better. Also, I suppose there are difference between taking care of boys and girls, and I wish to experience both.
Hope you'll enjoy your parenthood soon. It's really great experience. ^_^

I have 2 chidren. a boy and a girl. I wasn't worried about what I was having for the first baby, just as long as the baby was healthy. My second child, I really wanted a boy. I was not lucky. But I am greatful that both of my children are healthy.

Personally I do not have a preference. But when we chose a child for adoption, we choose a girl because many more girls are given up for adoption than boys in India and we had instantly felt an attachment when we had seen our little one for the first time. Now she is 7 years old and a happy child.I think it takes a lot of caring from from the parents for the little kid whether it is a boy or a girl.I do not think it will really matter when you do have your child.Good luck in advance.

I wanted to have a girl and then a boy. If I just had one child I would have liked to have a girl. I was lucky because I had two boys and a girl. So I have a 6 month old baby girl, a toddler boy aged two and a teenage son aged fourteen. I wish you luck having a little baby girl. I hope that you get pregnant soon with your little princess.

When I go for motherhood I dont mind the first time wether its a boy or girl but I believe having a girl or boy is not the question . I have seen girls being un obedient and un respectful to their parents as well. And I have seen boys helping their mothers and being the best helping hand in the home. So I guess its depend on luck

Hi! I think boy is easier to nurture, just because when girls grow up, they need and want more stuffs, like many dresses, make-up and many other girl stuffs

Hello there,I would like to have both a boy and a girl though i am glad that you are hoping to have a girl. Some cultures prefer to have boys because they believe that they would carry the families' bloodline. Even til this day, i know a number of children (who are girls) who are being treated unfairly by their parents in comparison to their brothers. These parents should see all the good traits that girls have!
