What do you think about the growing number of t.v channels especially news channels allaround the world these days? Are they really helpful to the society or the world at large. I feel that instead of bridging the gap between the people they are widening the gaps, instead of educating the citizens, they are misleading them and instead of taking up the public issues they are diverting the focus from actual ones.Ofcourse that' my opinion, atleast that's what I have been observing in my country. There are a couple of channels which are quite sincere too, but you never know.I feel that they should stick to their principles and strive for the benefit of humanity itself.

Well i think television is playing the both part , educating as well as diverting , apart from geography channels like discovery , national wildlife etc no other channel is educating us , even these news channels are not giving us proper news but they are diverting us , they are provoking the peace of the country , in my country maximum fights are because of the news channels and they highlight those who are thugs and i hate this thing , news channels have made a unknown person to a known person and this result in break of public peace.Have a nice day and Merry christmas
