Usernames on youtube matching the videos?

If you have a username like for example about parrots,to you post all your vids about parrots,or add things out of the subject.If your username is hamster or about food or something do you post things not about the topic that you are in your username?I do,my username is about animals,And I post music vids and some other stuff out of the catagory do you do that too?

it's called marketing, and if you are a good webmaster / promotor / marketer you will do exactly that!

Hi sybitzz: you are actually right, when you are a good promotor you need to find an attractive name and i think that would mean that you need to find a name that will attract a big number of possible users no matter if you use these tactics. Hi java: I didn't know this because my youtube username it's just the combination of my name and last name but it has senses to me what you are talking about. In some cases this must be uncomfortable specially if your videos are not related to the subject i am searching for example. Well thank you very much for the information. Well my youtube username is "Ally of the Rain" but I don't make videos about rain. I don't really make many videos period, though I plan to. I guess your username should have something to do with the videos you post, but if you're just a vlogger or a direction then it should just be a name that fits you.

I don't really make videos, but if I did, I probably would have a name like that.So, I guess my answer is no, but it would be yes if I did make videos.It makes sense to do so.It allows users with that interest to find you easier.
