Very worst fielding performance by bowlers. Indian bowlers should understand that not bowling alone is their part, they have to field as well. Zaheer & Nehara bowled well at the end but they failed to field to support other bowlers. If Zaheer would have stopped the ball during 48.5 over. India would have won the match but he didn't do that, also he missed the catch in the same over bowled by Nehara. Nehara also looks lethargic while fielding. He didn't took any effort to stop the quick singles, he had left the chances of runout without taking any effort. Indian cricket team have to improve their fielding performance.

You can't blame Zaheer for this. That was the tense moment and that can be happen with any good player also. You remember Gibbs when he drop Steve Waugh in critical moment.
You can't forget that Zaheer by his bowling bring India back in the game.

They bowl and field better. So we being the best batting side of the world can't beat Sri lankas today, it is so sad. Dony's captaincy is not up to the mark.

Yes Lankans bowled & fielded well & they deserve it.. But u cannot say that Doni's Captaincy is not up-to the mark. He is guiding the Indian team in good manner but few players doing mistakes in their fielding & in their bowling performance. And so his ideas going like a cake walk......

I think, I agree with most of your views. I don't understand when will India improve their fiedling standards. Without having an excellence in all the three departments viz - batting, bowling and fielding, no team can be the number one team. Sometimes, India looks too good and sometimes it seems that boys in the lane somewhere are playing. See Australia for example. We have seen hundreds and thousands of times how they slide at the boundary ropes to save even a single run even if they are in a commanding position. They aren't the number one for nothing. India on the other hand, are good only in batting. It is a well known fact. But strengthning only one of your aspects is not enough in the international level. India really lack most of the things and still we are very much in love with the game and with the players. Well, that is not wrong, but the performance too should be seen. And then if not then simple things cost a lot.
