please advice: i am having a male dalmatian

I am having a male dalmetian of 8 months.He is active,no wories but he eats all kind of stuff.But the matter is,he eats a lot of sand.Everday a he braks a flower pot.He even eat stones,woods,plastic.I have consulted a doctor,he has given him the calcium biscuits,i have feed him for 4 months,even i am giving him pedigree,but still no results.
please anyone do advice?

I used to have a female dalmation. She was a very hyper dog, even when she was grown. I think it's pretty much in their bloodline to be hyperactive and destructive.

Thats what i think.but the people here says,its the best breed,it remains quiet.

Pedigree is a good dog food but is not the best. If you are concerned about him not getting the correct nutrients consider feeding a premium dog food. Eukanuba, Pro Plan, Science Diet are all consider to be premiums and contain more of the necessary daily requirements. Also give him things to chew on to occupy his time. His eating things that are not normal may be due to the fact that he is bored. Choose natural chew toys such as pig ears, real bones (that have been properly processed from the pet store) and treats. This may help some also.
