I dont know about you guys, But I feel like I really missed out on my high school experience. I wish I would have joined the cheerleading team, attended more football games, took more exciting classes. There is just soo much about high school that I regret. So many things I missed out on. I never went to prom, never graduated, never went to any dances or nothing like that. And on top of that, I probably went to school 4 days out of a week, because I skipped so much. What about you guys? Did you guys have a fulfilling high school experience

I went to a secondary school for five years. I began at age eleven and left to go to college when I was sixteen. I spent two years at college between age sixteen and eighteen. I went to university in my early to mid twenties. I liked my secondary school and found most lessons interesting. I liked mixing with my friends. I loved English, History. Religious Education, Geography and Art. I hated Maths, Science and Physical Education. They did O levels and CSE exams. Then for my year they changed it to the GCSE exams. We didn't do all that well. I got enough passes to get to college. Many of my friends had to resit their exams again. I didn't skip school but I had a long list of excuses for Physical Education. I had my clubs that other students learned about caring for animals.

I had one of the best high school experiences! It started out a bit rocky, my freshman year I spent most of my extra time in the hospital with my father who was battling leukemia. After he passed away, it was very hard to continue with school, but it was at the end of the year so my teachers were very understanding. It was a hard year for me, and I battled with self esteem issues as well- I was still in that awkward phase of life. But i quickly grew out of it over that summer. That summer I started dating this guy who went to my high school who was pretty popular and funny. So my sophomore year I started hanging out with older people, and I started developing my own sense of style and I grew into myself more. I also started doing theatre, which is now my passion in life! My junior year I really delved into theatre and won Best actress in my region, our One-act won first place at the State competition, and I starred in the Spring musical. I was also a member and leader of a million clubs and organizations including drama and art club! The first day of my Senior year I got to sing at the assembly in front of the whole school- and I was nominated for homecoming queen in which I was 2nd runner up. I also won "Most Unique," and I was the class secretary, along with many other leadership positions. I was still very involved in theatre and continued to star in many roles, and I also won the pageant for my school. I never really was one to attend all the football games, as I always had rehearsal for a show or something, but I had lots of friends and was respected by many, even the "weird" people that the "popular kids" did not like. I went to prom 3 years and enjoyed every year thoroughly! I thoroughly enjoyed my high school experience! I think it could not have gone any better really. I didn't have just one "clique," I was friends with all differetn kinds of people and it really was a great experience overall.

In my country most people spend 3 years in high school, but I chose a school where the students only spend 2 years in high school. We didn't have any creative subjects like music or art, and because we only had two years to finish all of the subjects we had many lessons each day, and lots of homework. I spent most of my spare time on my homework, and I didn't really have time for anything else. I managed to get my exam in two years and I was very happy about that, but I sometimes wish that I had chosen a different school, because I missed out on creative and social activities.

In New Zealand we don't have the typical high school experience that Americans have. We don't have football or cheer leading so it was less cliquey which is good in some ways because generally most people got along with the exception of a few loners but there was a sense of apathy. Nobody really went to all of their classes and loved them, nobody really participated in high school activities much. But outside of school it was great so I'd say I had a great high school experience, I made great friends, went to parties and did very little work!

I also believe I have missed out on lot of things in high school. It was sure fun but there were things i wasnt able to do. There were normal experiences I weren't given a chance to have. But i am sure not all high schools are perfect. I really just think that I didnt have a fulfilling one. There were normal things i never had. :(

When I was in Highschool I wasn't really active with extra curricular activities. But I enjoyed being in highschool because of my friends. We always do things together even cheating during quizzes and exams. It was really fun though.

I had a great high school experience. I was active in sports, running cross country and track. I played on the basketball team. Music was my focus then and I was enrolled in every music class I could possibly enroll in! lol. I played the trumpet in marching band and jazz band. I was the accompanist (piano) for most of the choral groups. I sang and entered competitions through school. Much to my surprise, I was nominated and became prom queen my junior year in high school! I was away at a school sponsored music function and didn't even know I had been nominated! lol. I got straight A's and never missed a day. The biggest drawback to me were the social groups. There were the "pot heads", "smokers", "aggies", "nerds", etc. and I never fit into any of them. Other than actually participating in the above-mentioned activities, I did not socialize at all in school. That's the one regret I have. I've never been to a reunion. As a matter of fact, my 30th high school reunion is coming up and I have no reason or desire to go.

NO, I had a horrible time in highschool. My mom said that I was kind of the pioneer of my generation, because I was disabled and the first kid to go to regular high school. She said I paved the way for other disabled kids to go to my school. All I know is was hell on me everyday. I was called retard everyday, nobody talked to me when my parents got divorsed and my sister lived with my mother and didn't go to the high school anymore. I was never so unhappy as I was at that time.

I really had a lot of beautiful memories in high school. I met my long-lasting friends there. There were some times that I cried for some reasons nut that was just a part of my high school life. I met the love of my life back when I was in high school and thank God we are still together until now. I hope we will always be together for the rest of our lives. High school experiences were really very memorable for me because it was the time when I learned many things about life.
