Being stood up? Don't you hate that?

Well, actually, I absolutely LOVE being stood up. Because it's the ultimate indicator of whether or not the relationship is worth investing time in. (Except for the hour I had to get ready in, the commute, and however long it took me to realize at the casino that I was being stood up.. But that doesn't count.) I should be thankful that my "date" stood me up a few nights ago. Now I know for sure that he's a loser, instead of just reluctantly suspecting it.
Do you ever try to look on the positive sides of things, too, even when they're pretty.. obselete?

Sorry to hear about your date standing you up.
While you were at the casino, did you at least play? You might have been lucky, if you think about it. If it was luck that made you miss your date, and therefore avoid a loser.
I am the more fortunate ones that have not been stood up. Of course I choose my prey, I mean my dates carefully. Hehe

Hi, maezee. Yes, I have experienced that same thing, too. I really feel frustrated about it. I feel bad and hate having to be done that way. I don't like to do that to people as I even hate to come late for an appointment. I just hate people who say yes and promise to come but then, you are there waiting, without even a word as to why he hasn't shown up. The explanation comes the following day. It always happened to me when I was in this networking business and had to invite people to attend to business opportunity meetings but don't show up. Sometimes, I re-invite them but after that, it would already mean that he is not interested and I stop.
