Of course by now you've heard a lot of information about the new windows operating system- Windows 7. I've read some reviews about it saying it is no better than the Vista which was greatly hated by users. Do you have some other views about this new OS? Are you going to upgrade to Windows 7? Or stick to XP if you are using XP now?

I'm now using windows vista right now. And if you were going to ask me if I'm going to replace it... well my answer is not. It's hard to look for a new driver for the hardware specially if you're operating system is new. I rather wait for some time before replacing my OS. Most new operating system doesn't support old pc hardware like old video card. It would take time for the manufacturer of that card to release a new driver for it to be supported by the new operating system.

I can't find a free Windows 7 that has no defect for now and there are still games that are not licensed on Windows 7 so I choose to stick on Windows XP.

On my machien that runs XP, I'll be keeping XP I see zero reason as of late to even bother thinking about wether o not it could handle 7, which I doubt. As for the computer I'm using at the moment that's running Vista, I can't get 7 on it soon enough. If windows follows their current trend of every other OS is terrible, then Windows 7 should be just as good as XP was.In my experience, XP was one of the better OS's they've released. I would have rolled this one back to XP but I've heard naught but horror stories from people who put XP on a hard drive that had Vista on it. Apparently they won't work right with another OS on them, and I have no idea why.

Windows Xp is the best that has come from Microsoft. Since xp has been around longer than vista or windows 7, I am going to stick with xp. In order to compete with the Apple dominated market, microsoft has moved from usability and functions to more sexy and sleek looks.

Considering the fact that Windows 7 downloads slower and uploads slower than both Vista and XP, I'd say it's not all that good as everyone expected it to be.

I have been using vista for quite a time. I really had a problem when I started using it. There were so many applications that fails due to incompatibility issues. But later on it was going well. Lately, I have upgraded to windows 7.... I am really amazed. It is really great. It also consumes lesser memory as compared to vista. The graphics as well has sound has greatly improved. I do recommend that people should try it. I have not encountered any problems after shifting to window 7.

Don't know about Windows 7, there are mixed reviews, some say its good while others say its really bad. I'll try for myself to see how good it is, as I'm still currently using Windows XP. I can always go back to windows xp if there are any problems.

I'm going to stick with XP as long as I can. I've been at other computers with Vista and it took me some time to find what I needed to find. I don't mind if they try to make thinks internally better, but when stuff gets moved around--like I think it's the defrag--hard to find-- it is time consuming and you have relearn again how to work with your OS. I had problems adjust to XP after Windows 98, but in that case, it was worth. Now I'm used to XP and a few years from now MS won't be supporting that I am sure.

I have been using windows7 for about half a year,it's perfect!Although many incompacity issues have been met,it is not too difficult to solve. And i have helped many of my classmates install this os.For windows XP,it is stable, but it's ugly, too. That's enough reason for me to abandon it.
