dividing the state is not a good option. politicians are playing with peoples lifes. because fo these protestes the leaders are weell and god but common people are suffering a lot. and if the state is divided then we cant have command in center and there is also a threat of naxals raising creating law and order problem. Its better to develop the state as a whole, if these politicians spend some time to develop our state then our state will be developed soon but they are quarellyng among themselves for seats, seperate states, etc... if they are allowed in this way some of them even say that they will do hunger strike until thier region is declared as seperate country so that they can become PM. if people were given recall right then only our country will develop as these politicians have fear of loosing their post if they dont work.

Hi vijayanandp, I dont think dividing the state is going to help anybody. Rice might touch 80 rupees within an year. I dont think that helps half the population of the country, which uses rice as the staple food. So is sugar going to get costlier because these two are the major crops of coastal regions. Once the water is retained either by Rayalaseema, or Telangana, the entire nation will pay the price. As to Telangana region people must consider that the rivers flow into the city through Rayalaseema. If Rayalaseema chooses to build a dam, there is no way Telangana can hope to have a perennially working water flows. That is the ground reality. So there will be no electricity, and software as well as BPO industries will flee, even other industries, and there will be no water for agriculture as well. Another crucial issue will be falling land prices. They wipe away wealth across the board. Once that happens, banks will be calling up debts even of Telangana farmers. Then it will be people selling their properties at any cost, letting unsocial terrorist organizations gain stronghold over a small area within the country. We are already fighting on front, we are already short of armed personnel, we can now create a mini Pakistan here, and then we will all live in fear not knowing whether we will be returning home safe and sound. This morning KCR was commenting on others fasting, asking them to come to table and talk, when he himself was not prepared to. Remember the state has already seen the reign of two chief ministers from the region (Chenna Reddy and Anjaiah). If the funds released by center were indeed adequate, they would have started some projects in the region, isn't it? As things stand, the way NTR and subsequent chief ministers have done seemed the only way out for the region. Be fair, Hyderabad was never this glamorous in modern times.

Hi vandana, Thanks for the reply, well what you said is correct but this people here do not understand this only politicians for their benifit they are doing all this and just bluffing people of talangana to do this and this people do not understand all this and they are demanding separate state well they are not worried of the future and the price rice they now want is Talangana, Andhra and Rayalseema people want united Andhra but just a wrong statement by Chidambaram and Soniagandhi lead to a big trouble in Andhrapradesh. Well Lagdapati Rajagopal proved about the some of the leaders who challanged him to come to hyderabad and talk and he also proved how was KCR's Fasting going on, well after all this also people dont understand the game of the politicians. well already governemnt has recomended that the vat be increased from 12% to 14 % which we comman man have to face it and once state is divided again tax will be increasing that too we only pay and politicians will fill their pockets and be much more richer.

Hi vijayanandp, I agree people do not understand. But we have time on our side. TRS has shown a GO through which it has shown how much is allocated to different parts of Andhra, with Telangana getting just about 4 crores. I think we can talk to our friends, relatives, servants, and everybody - let people understand that though it seemed unjust, people like Jana Reddy (Congress), and KCR (TRS) did not protest at the right time by raising such hue and cry. Instead they let the state do as it willed during YSR. Why? Possibly there were some promises for the next year, or some amounts given in the previous year. People should ask relevant questions, and media should play an important role by letting logical questioning prevail.

India is really too big to manage.
When our Founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, was alive, someone asked him, "If we give you India, how will you manage?"
He did not dare to tackle the task.
There is no easy way out because India is such a big place, with many races.
