Who can eat a dry hamburger sandwich? For me, a hamburger is best eaten with cheese and some burger sauce. I like ketchup on my burger, I also like mayonnaise. Most of the time, I mix the two for a delicious, orangey sauce. i also like mustard on my burger but not all people like mustard. How about you, what's your preference?

Yes, definitively a hamburguer needs sauce. I like mine with many different kinds, like ketchup and mustard, or barbeque sauce. I also like teriyaki sauce on them.
What I'm not too keen on is mayonnaise, so I tend to avoid it.

It depends on what kind of burger it is. For almost all burgers, I like to have ketchup on it, but if it is a mushroom and swiss burger, then I have to have mayonnaise on it. I am not a fan of mustard or the thousand island/orange sauce, I do like mustard on my hot dogs though.

hi arystine!
i like my burgers with lots of mustard and mayonnaise. not really a big fan of ketchup for burgers but i do like a lot of tabasco sauce or taco sauce in my burger. pepper is a must as well. i like to experiment on the taste of burgers but mostly i go for it being spicy.
cheers!!!

Whenever I eat a burger I usually just use mayo. The only time I use a mixture of toppings is when I'm eating a burger from a restaurant. They use their own toppings so I just eat it that way. When I'm at home I just slap some mayo on the bun and go to town. I like other things on it though to help bring out the flavor like onions and tomato so it doesn't seem so bland.

I prefer my burger with just ketchup and cheese. I'm not a fan of mustard and I hate mayonnaise, but if it's already mixed in with the ketchup like at McDonald's, then it's OK.

As for me, yes, cheese, and all of the above mentioned condiments. Since there are so many burger variations (meats like beef, turkey, lamb, even fish, veggie, mushroom, etc.) my preference can vary with the type of burger. Generally, with beef, I prefer the "special sauce" that most restaurants use, which is the mix you mention of mayo and ketchup, with some variation, like relish, lemon juice, or other seasoning. I always seem to want mayonnaise and/or ketchup, but sometimes like mustard alone, or a mustard/mayo combo. Sometimes, I even like all three combined.
There are lots of other sauce combinations possible, including horseradish mayo, garlic aioli, remoulade, even tartar sauce on fish, salmon burgers. The sky's the limit on taste and preference.

The only thing iv ever liked on my hamburgers are mayonnaise and ketchup if there isn't any of that on a burger then it normally sucks to me.
