It's a form of venue change because all throughout, people are mostly school-home or office-home routine. A change of scenery is nice. It's nice to try out a new place and relax. People pamper themselves that way. They won't have to cook for themselves. People just want to relax. :)

i don't know, maybe beacause they don't want or don't have time to cook, or maybe beacause they want to go in a special place with partner or family. I go outside beacause i would like to go around in the city and beacause i want to go in a special place with my girlfriend. But sometimes i stay at home with her and we cook something together, i like to cook with her expecially when is too much cold outside.

i seldom eat out on weekends but i can understand why they do so. they want to relax, they want to meet people and they want to enjoy themselves. of course, other peopole like to spend their weekends in other ways, such as cooking a nice meal and enjoy it with the family.
