Have you ever misplaced something in your home? Have you ever put something away and forgotten where it is? Have you ever lost something in your home?
At the moment I have misplaced a few things like some magazines that should be in my magazine box. I have put my son's sheets away and I have forgotten where they are. I have lost two library books that I have borrowed.

Every pack rat faces this problem. When you need it, you can't find it. When you buy the item after giving up the search, you find it right away. Step one. Box it all up and label the box. Have a master list on a piece of paper or on a spread sheet on your computer. When you need it, search the list. It will tell you where it is.........Another friend said not to label the box. After a year if you find the box and do not know what is in it, throw it away. You will never miss it and you will no longer be a pack rat. Of course, if you threw it away, there is no hope of finding it when you decide to look.

It happens a lot of times, no matter how i organized my things inside our home, there's still some instances that some of my things are misplace. My daughter loves collecting things and put it inside her bag and pretend to go shopping inside our house, that is why most of my things are just being brought inside her bag.

Yes I have put something up and then later when I wanted it I could not remember where I put it. I have misplaced my keys a few times and had to check for awhile before I could fine them. I can not be with my car keys or even house keys so I had to keep looking until I found them most of the time they were just laying on a cabinet someplace that I would not usually put them.

lol..happens to me all the time. I put things away safe and sound and then I can't remember where I've kept them. I also have a 'so-called' junk cupboard where I dump stuff when I don't have time to categorize or sort thinking I would do it later. It never gets done. Sometimes, I know I've got a particular thing SOMEWHERE...just don't know where. Ugh!!! It's crazy and it drives me mad! But that's the way it is.

Hi maximax8!
I often experience this. Sometimes I think that I have lost something forever. But when I clean the room, I get to find it. Or, when I get to misplace something at home, I am sure that after a while, when I already do not need it or when I am no longer looking for it, that is the time I find it.

I am the queen of losing things in my home. Its a family joke that if they had given me the original Adam Bomb plans and ask me to keep them safe the world would be a safer place because I would never find them again. I have always been like this. If somethings is very important I make sure I tell someone where it at.

This happens very often in my home. I misplace books, pens, diary and even important documents . But I blame my wife for these misplacement. And it creates quarrel between us. At last proves that those were my mistake. Then I beg pardon to her. I'm a 'absent minded professor'.

Rather regularly..lighter, keys most often. Have set down a paint brush a couple days back when something else came to mind and surprised myself that it wasn't with the project when I returned. Best I can figure, I drifted about the apartment while the mind wandered and set it on the edge of the sink. I found it there later.
Enjoy!

I get mixed up all the time. i need to concentrate on what i do if someone talks to me about one thing and then another person talks about another subject i forgot what the first person said.
It also happens to me if i put things down and walk away then i completely forget where i put the object!

I used to lose things all the time. I'd put my keys down for two seconds and voila!--couldn't find them. After I got my new phone though, I picked up this thing called PhoneHalo. It tracks your phone and whatever other thing you put your PhoneHalo on. It's pretty cool and you should check it out if you're still misplacing things around your house.

I am so famous for doing this! Between two kids, blah blah - it is crazy around here.
Every Christmas I always loose one gift. Hubby says it is because I am a disorganized person, which I admit I am! LOL
DH is starting to forget where he puts things, FINALLY I don't feel alone!

i've misplaced many things at home. sometime, it's because i kept it so securely that i couldn't find it. other times, i was distracted when i put the thing down. thankfully, i live in an apartment which is not too big. this means i always manage to find whatever i've misplaced.

In my family if you say, "I put it in a safe place," that's the same as saying, "I've lost it." We put a lot of things in "safe places."

I am always losing things! It is especially bad now that I have a baby. It seems like every time I go to leave the house, I have to go on a search for something. My cell phone is the most common lost object, but sometimes it's my keys, or work stuff. I feel like my brain is on the fritz!
