I think that the best place to honeymoon would be on a tropical beach. The couple could stay in a thatched beach hut on a white sandy beach shaded by palm trees. In the day they could bathe in the crystal clear water. In the evening they could watch the orange sunset. I have been so some destinations suitable for a honeymoon. They are the Seychelles and the Maldives. I haven't been there yet but I think Mauritius would be another fine destination for a honeymooning couple. I went to Venice for my honeymoon but I am now divorced.

My wife and I got married a little over a year ago and we went to the mountains for our honeymoon. It was a surprise for my wife. We went to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN. I had never been there before, but my wife had been many times. I wasn't sure if I would even like the place, but I must say that I had a blast! There were so many things to be seen and to do throughout the area. Gatlinburg was awesome because there were so many quaint shops and eateries to visit. The chocolate factory there was the best ever! I think that a honeymoon can be awesome no matter where you go. It just depends on personal preference. Some people like the beach or mountains more than other places, while some people love big cities. Personally, I love any of those places and could have been very happy to spend my honeymoon at any of them. The main reason I chose Pigeon Forge, TN is because I knew my wife loved it there and wanted to go back very badly.
